4. 2 Peter

Peter, knowing his death is imminent, reminds his readers of truths he has told them before to strengthen their faith. They, and we as well, would also benefit just as much from the written word - since both oral and written communication came from heaven through inspiration. It behooves all to treat the Word of God with utmost respect and to live by its teachings as our time down here is also limited.
