    The first video in 2021 is the jacket drape technique.It is based on the hourglass-like silhouette "bar jacket," which was also a symbol of Dior in the 1940s. Until then, evening dresses were the mainstream of women's fashion. However, as women's independence progressed rapidly after the war, women acquired a weapon called a suit. And the end of the era of evening dresses has begun. The collar of the perfect jacket is sculptural and very sexy.

    this is gold...wow I struggled with these for so long...the patterns were basically incomprehensible...the visuals.....perfection

      The silhouette of the Dior bar jacket remains the same, but the pattern details have changed over time. The next step is to drape the same hourglass silhouette using different types of patterns.

    White text on a white background.
    Oh yeah, I can see that just fine.

    • @kondosdrapinglibrary9070
      @kondosdrapinglibrary9070  Год назад

      It is difficult to choose a background colour for the video. A black background makes it easier to see silhouettes, but it obscures lines and seams on thin fabric. I chose a white background because I wanted to show everyone the lines and not the surfaces.
