I have almost died of Lock jaw and it's absolutely terrifying. It feels like your own mouth is squeezing your throat shut and your teeth are clenched so tight it feels like they're going to break. You can't swallow or breath. I couldn't eat for three days afterwards because I was so scared that I'd choke on my own food if it happened again.
That really would have been terrifying. You are lucky to be alive. I'm am so glad I've never experienced it. After reading about what happened to you I hope I never do.

I got a booster Tetanus shot in 2019 , only they added something to it. It's now DTP and my arm was swollen for a week. ( Diphtheria, Tetanus, and Pertussis) So many adults were experiencing Whooping Coughing symptoms ( before Covid-19) that they decided to add it to Tetanus.
