Interesting observations. I agree that the jeans are not denim. More of a cotton canvas chino as you noted. You should be cautious with the U trousers because many are similarly high waisted. It is one of the Lemaire signature silhouettes. I was lucky they fit me well. I actually picked up the other 3 colors and might get the black on sale on account of the green stitching. I appreciate the washing results section. I also have the long t shirt. I got it to use as a way to add some interest silhouette wise in the warm months. For me, it works with the snaps open to about the waist with pants underneath. Kaftan style. I was worried about the first wash, so your video relieved me. Colorwise, Uniqlo never gives very rich descriptions (greys are actually a celadon green, last fall most browns were an azuki bean purple). That piece is more or less Lemaire's olive brown, which is exactly as you described. It is one of those shades that shifts depending on the pairing. These dresses were a flop saleswise. $30 as of this writing, but likely to hit $15 or $20 if the other colors tempted you.

@gustaveii, Thank you for watching and for the very insightful comment. I can tell to watched the whole video, and for that, I am so endlessly grateful. I'm tempted to try more U trousers to see if the fit is indeed not for me. I hope you enjoy the jeans and their green stitching if you get them. Waiting for the items to go on sale is a wonderful idea! I would like to pick up the snap side top in the other colors. Your information on UNIQLO's colors is very interesting. That is one of the things I love about the brand! Some additional information on the snap side top, after washing it a second time and hang drying it... it is very wrinkly and will, unfortunately need an iron. Still in good shape though! Much love, Mary.

Hi. Apologies for the slow response. I was waiting for the black pants to arrive. Re: the stitching, I don't think it was intentionally green, but a result of these being garment dyed (rather than the fabric being dyed and then sewn). As a hobby, I've recently started learning about natural dyes and certain materials take the dye better than others. Synthetics don't dye well, so there is a chance the threads are not cotton or at least were different than the rest. This was the case with a light cotton shirt from the collection that i dyed a dark purple. Now, it has contrast stitching! The $10 sales really helped me build a stock of 100% cotton shirts to play with this summer. Once i get a little more familiar, i am going to try dying pants too. Thanks for the extra info on the long shirt.
