Awesome!! You are doing a super job. 1968 did not come with hood scoops. It did not stop me from installing the hood scoop and making it a functioning one.
We LOVE the hood scoop, and think long term that it will become an addition once "bodywork" takes place. Ultimately we just have to convince Kate now that it's a perfect idea 🤣
A) yes the correct term would have been "air shocks" but that's semantics. B) the seals failed, so putting air in them no longer worked as intended(not from a lack of trying) C) oxygen is in fact a "gas" and you can also fill air shocks with nitrogen or more commonly Co2 just as easily. Co2 cartridges work great if you don't have an onboard air system and suddenly need to adjust the ride.
Absolutely bro, there's still so much shine left in it we didn't get down to yet. It was very time consuming so I'm definitely going to have another date with attacking it again.
I am absolutely amazed at how much better the paint looks. Still some room for improvement on the hood and the roof, but damn does she shine now!

Nice car ,wish I had a crew like you guys for my fairlane
Great job restoring the car. The color is Ford Presidential Blue. Most beautiful blue autopaint ever imho
Those are air shocks not gas.they're adjustable by adding or letting air out.

What radiator did you use?

It's a generic chinese one, but it was a direct fit and doesn't leak, so for now it's a perfect fit.
Bro I’d love to be able to shoot you a had to get that paint to the next level.
