I run a 2388 to cut every single acre of our barley and wheat and use it to help out during beans as well. It's a working machine and we make some beautiful straw with it along with super clean grain. Great combine!
Great vid👍I do miss 2188 with 36 draper front, big top n extended auger. The 2100 n 2300 were awesome combines much improvement over early AF, with best cab on the market for comfort n quietness.
Hi I’m in Zimbabwe , I own this model and I’ve been asked to cut barley with it for the first time , there are not a lot of people to ask for advice in Zim , so am resorting to Internet . I’ve been trying to find out what base settings I should start off with . It’s very heavy barley probably 8 to 9 ton / ha and is lodged . I was thinking of starting out with 650 rotor speed , 900 fan speed . But am a little stumped with where to start with my concave setting , as there is a huge amount of straw to process and where to start with my Chaffer and sieve settings. Any advice would be great thanks.
Thank You Mike for a great video, good to see and hear the older machines working on the harvest, take care and have a great day.
we used to have 2 '66's a 2166 and a 2366 my first combine ride was in one of these! thankyou for sharing this video of this beast mike!
That’s the model combine our farm runs! Great video mike!

Looks like he's got a lot mare's tail in there. It that issue in that area?
Какая ширина жатки? Спасибо!
Is that same capacity as 1660 series?
2366 is generally bigger - here's a really good PDF going over the upgrades over the years - www.hoober.com/images/CurrentAds/AxialFlowTimeline.pdf
Nice sounding cummings
👍
I see the new heads are powered by hydraulic motors and this older one is mechanical.
