the candle and tissue transfer craft has been around since the 1970s....that's how we made Xmas candles wo spending a ton of money. As for recycling newspapers...just don't buy them to begin with lol Modpodge wasn't originally marketed for photo transfer...when it debuted in 1988/89 it was crafters who figured out this use....and told the company. I know...I was taking classes for my work at Michaels...we were shown all the "advertised" ways it could be used, then shown the "you'll never guess what else you can use Modpodge for!" ways.
Some of the hacks are on another video but I still liked both sets of hands as well as the crystals. I'd love to try some of this stuff if I had a workspace. The photo transfers to candles were pretty cool. 👍 😊

Also glue will work just as well as "mod podge" glue is also cheaper, anyone can find it, and it dries faster.

You might as well use plain paper for that transfer paper on candles and put it on with an iron. That works even better!
