Hi Mike, Great video. I remember that day with the rugby specials, I was working a FGW HST rugby special. I remember sitting down Brickyard sidings in Cardiff and there was 3 of us, me on the up relief 2, another HST on the up relief, a 3rd on the up main, all sat in a row waiting for platforms. Then there was all those specials in your video, coming and going. It was like a diesel gala. I had a great time. Cheers, Rich
Blast from the past, Mike. Thow Newport Station has changed. I remember the car park. I did not realise the 67 was that old. Perhaps I am showing my age! Great shots of 37's and the 31. Timeless.
absolutely superb Mike.Wish we still had loco hauled trains, so much more interesting than the high speed 'jet propelled ' space age crap. great compilation
Wow. The yard is now a car park. There's a x@#%$, ☆#@*¥₩g surprise! Last time I visited there, some newly landed class 66 passed through the station. As with the other comment, I never realised 67s went back that far. Great video.
Brilliant video Mike.nice selection of locos from the past. Tornado is in Cardiff on the 10th of December. Kind regards C&A
Thanks for the reminder; don't think I'll be on Jacobs roof now, with all the wires up!!
Great video. Fragonset class 31 really is a blast from the past

Great video.
67s were built 1999-2000. I have the deliveries at Newport on my YT page
Is it just me, or does that uneven wiper movement on the 67s look really irritating for the driver...
For a newer loco, I agree. Maybe they need a better screen wash
