If you all want to feel safe never leave your home for any reason.

Where in Stanley Park. What time of day. Im guessing that the males who have been sexually assaulted do not report it?

Sounds like you have a problem with women voicing assaults and discussing it.?. FYI, there are a lot more unreported assaults on women than there are reported. If you feel inundated with this kind of topic, just imagine what it would be like if every woman reported their assault. Try to imagine what it’s like for one single woman and all the physical and mental health issues she goes through after an assault. FYI…It affects the rest her life. Now times that by the actual unknown number of assaults on women. How would anything get better unless it’s discussed and brought out like this? No one is stopping any gender from voicing their assault. This has been happening to far too many women since the beginning of the human race and discussions about it are obviously far overdue and need to be discussed much much more until not a single assault ever happens again. You are not going to stop these discussions nor any progress made from them.

this officer provided nothing in terms of information we ourselves could use , im 22 live 2 mins away from the park i always go w my partner and rarely alone with my kid and i HAVE been followed by a older man when alone during the day , i got a sinking feeling because he circled the area and would stand and watch while i figured out the path my instincts kicked in i hopped over tress and got the hell out of there, clearly this officer doesn’t come to the area with out uniform alone maybe if she did she’d realize there are much more encounters that happen where people don’t report or get away

What are the odds of this happening? It's not like Stanley Park attracts many weirdos throughout the day.

It's unrealistic to expect 100% safety. Overall the park is safe. It's more dangerous driving or crossing the street.
