Where I live it is about two hoursdrive into tchechoslavika, they do have markets there, you can buy plants, candles, cheap clothing and so on, it is a lot cheaper there then in Germany. We are driving tomorrow into the black Forrest 450 km about 4 hours on the Autobahn. Greetings from Germany 🙋♀️🌸🌻🐝💚🪴
Aww Jes!! That song again 🥰 gets me in the feels. So nice. Loving how the new bed is coming on! Looks so different in such a short time ,feels like only 5 minutes ago, you were digging the bed out. Those pesky snakes really freaked you out today that was obvious but hey, your gardens so nice they want a part of it too I guess 😬🍀🌳🪺🏵🌺💐🌼❤️🇬🇧
Along with enjoying your planting, laughing at your snake fear....I appreciate getting to hear a WAYLON song and your singing. That friend song would make a great ending for your videos each time. I don't think we would get tired of hearing it and new watchers haven't heard it yet. 😊 p.s. One Summer I had a "Johnny Jump Up" viola pop up in a hillside rock pile. There really is something sweet about those little surprises. Makes you think about how awesomely strong and powerful one little seed can be.
@@jesthesinginggardener Here's a little WAYLON story. He's my all time favorite. In 1995 he played a concert at the SURF in Clear Lake, Iowa. It was his 1st time back there since the night he had played with Buddy Holly and Buddy and the other men died in the plane crash Feb. 3rd 1959. (there's a video on You Tube of the interview he did that night in 1995 ) I got tickets for my sister for her nursing school graduation gift. And because we both love his music. It was so fantastic to see him! The SURF is a small venue and you can get within 50 ft. of the performers. And we did of course...🙂. We had our ears right next to the speaker! lol That's a night I cherish and will never forget.
Thank you Jes for every movie you post I am a recent follower! Your gardens are magnificent and bring me such joy to watch.🌺 Thanks to you and your planting inspiration I added 23 new plants including 3 Hibiscus , Holy Grail, Perfect Storm and my first and most favourite Valentine Crush a most glorious plate sized Deep Red bloom. I highly recommend Valentines Crush not as dark in color in lthe leaves but it’s taller than my other two making a huge show at the corner edge of our front yard. ❤So look forward to your happy movies! God Bless!🌸🌺🇨🇦
Have had the Stachys Hummello for about 6 years in my gardens....very reliable and clump gets bigger every year, but not overwhelming. They will sometimes rebloom a bit later in the season. Another nice video.
Your going to love that lambs ear, I have three and they are beautiful when they bloom.😁 Mine are also planted in clay soil. Have a great day. Enjoy your movies! I enjoy looking at your garden so much.
Your plants look so good in that bed I would be so tired by this heat also.I still have potted shrubs from spring that need to be planted before it gets too cold. Just can’t handle the 100 degree temperatures.😊
Jes I love red and pink flowers together as well. Love the new plants. Your new garden bed is looking really beautiful. I want one of those lamb ears, it’s going to be stunning. Can’t wait to see all the plants as they grow on.
Oh my goodness Jess look how much everything is growing in the new bed. So sorry you got scared by that snake. I don't like them either. But a girl has just got to plant . Loved hearing the song you wrote. Have a wonderful day 🤗💓💞💕
I learn so much from you in such a pleasant voice and setting. I love clicking on You Tube and seeing that you have a new movie posted. When you cut back your cone flower (rubeckia?), will you show us? I need to do mine.😊
I love all your heuchera! I bought five heuchera "Palace Purple" at Lowe's during Labor Day sale for $5 each. All the Proven Winners in fabulous colors were sitting nearby in larger pots for almost $20 each. The Palace Purple color didn't knock my socks off, but for the price I couldn't pass them up. Temps have cooled down, so I planted today. Fingers crossed. I needed to add red/purple and those did the trick.
Have you ever considered an Italian Cypress somewhere in your gardens? Very striking perhaps to formal for your liking. Beautiful property you have, I bet your husband smiles to himself when he pulls into your driveway. 💖💖🎶🎶
OMG!! I was literally gearing up to go outside in my garden after my husband told me he saw a snake few days ago. And when you scream “Snake”😂 Freaked me out 😂
Good morning Jes! You couldn’t have written a more beautiful song 🎶 ❤. I didn’t realize you could plant a hibiscus this time of year. Good to know. I’ll put mine in a big ceramic pot. I live in NC , ( about 10 miles from the Va line) my zone is 7b. Is that favorable for me to plant it ? Please be careful!! Just a reminder, look inside your nice new big watering can before you put your hands on the handle. You never know. 😉🙃 Stay cool. Enjoy your day! 🫶🩱🌊

I think Hummelo is actually more commonly called betony and wooly betony is called lamb's ear. My Hummelo has not spread, although you can say it grew into a slightly larger mound, just like most plants do. It really is similar to salvia, but I think it's foliage is much nicer and tidy. I just thought you might want to know.
Love all the beautiful plants you have, just have to get over the fear of snakes. Lol I would be shocked if a snake came out in my land scape too! 😂 I wish I could have a 1/4 of what you have.
I envy you digging in your soil with a shovel. I am in zone 7 Georgia red clay soil. I could never dig a hole like that, I usually have to use an auger! Love your gardens!
