Wonderful interview. Thanks for uploading such a informative video. Impressed with the Nobel Laureate's sincere and honest opinion about issues concerning science. The Nobel Laureate's book The God Particle prompted me to search for his lectures and interviews. Thanks a ton.
He mentions it in his book, 'The God Particle: If the Universe is the Answer, What is the Question?' A First Mariner Books edition 2006. In the new forward he says that he jokingly named the working title of the book, 'The God Particle' and it stuck... Later in the book, he even jokes that he thought a better name for it would have been, 'That God Damned Particle'! Mr. Lederman certainly has a good sense of humor!
A high school physics student could tell you why this is not possible. It is a simple consequence of what we call newton's third law. Also explainable by conservation of energy and momentum.
I just love Lederman! A great scientist with an even greater sense of humor!
I love Professor Lederman. Thanks for this video. Well done!
Rest in peace.. the world and I will miss you.

You are correct, sir. He later regretted calling it that, though.
