1970 Ford Maverick
VIN: 0K91T338754
Let me start off by saying we believe this to be an original 17k mile, San Diego car. That being said it also has a brand new crate 302ci Phoenix Engine with less than 500 miles on it, and the trans was rebuilt at the same time as well. Hooker headers an HEI distributor, B&M Quick Silver Shifter and other small parts have been added to make this Maverick a truly unique car. The body has all the original sheet metal it was built with when it rolled off the line and the underside is proof of that. The undercarriage has, besides the gas tank and exhaust, remained untouched, even the undercoating spray is still visible!
A 1970 Car Shop Manual, Magazine, Various Instruction Manuals, Posters, CD's with Instructions, Wiring Diagrams, and Marti Report are included in Sale!

Damn I love these simple old school v8 American made cars!
Had a 70 Mav that I drove through college while at Boston University from 72-74. I drove that thing like I stole it. Flogged it from NYC to Boston at 90+ mph during the 55mph national speed limit. I also took my first drivers' license test in it.
We had a 1960 Falcon and a 1965 Mustang before the Maverick and they were all pretty good. The Ford 6 cyl automatics were in all of them and they just ran and ran.
beautiful little car
Ive got a 73 mav setting in my barn.. My Great Great grandfather bought it new off the lott its been setting in barn for over twenty years all original...
That Maverick Grabber really grabs me...great vid!
I know this Video is 2 years old just saw the Engine and Dawned on me who the F puts a GM HEI Distributor and a Edelbrock Carb hum hum aka Carter Carb on a Ford Engine Holley carb MSD Distrbutor is the Right Combo
beautiful car
Looks so much like my mom's old 74 Grabber. That one came with bucket seats and a 250 6 cyl with 3 spd. Sadly the rust was getting it and she replaced it with an 88 Escort wagon.
If I had it, Id cut out that taillight panel & Hybrid the panel I want in there I saw one with a 70 Mistang panel & it made the car look way better
A girl I know had one of these about 20 yrs. ago that had Comet on it but it was white with double black stripes & 302 4 spd. Other than the chrome and name/stripes it looked the same. It's the only one I ever saw and I damn sure wish I had bought it! 500.00 Bucks!!
My dad's parents had a Maverick back in the 70's. Maybe even the 80's.
I had the 72' straight 6...a real pile. Miss it thou! Sucker got up to 110
