Holy crap that's awesome. This is gonna change so much. My brain is already trying to think of what could be done with Xenon...not that the sound needs any work but man....soo...cool.
Great work on the Video, I'm very interested in this as I have a Meteor that would be So cool to Mod the game rules. love the idea for having the modes and the one with the Drops was really Awesome stuff. Thanks So much for showing Us and keep up the good work...Cheers The Tassie Pinball Mafia.
I'm working on a System1 game now, but no, I haven't found a way to implement my architecture on those machines. They have two ports (TC1 & TC2), but I haven't found a way to take over that bus in a meaningful way. Also, because the spider chips are unavailable, the old boards are often replaced in those machines and Pascal and Ni-wumpf boards are a very different architecture. The nice part about making this for -17/-35/100/200/Alltek is that they all are functionally equivalent.
what leds are you using? they dont appear to be ghosting in your machine, just bought this mod for my Trident and I am finishing off shopping it out. thanks
Hey there. Do you need that red board to connect from the arduino board to the sound or can you just plug the red and yellow wire into the stock sound board and it'll work? Thanks
The red board is a wav trigger board that holds all of the wav sounds. amzn.to/3wftU9E You can order a kit on pinside or make your own using the online instructions at github.com/BallySternOS/BallySternOS
Great video! I should have mentioned earlier that the first game I implemented (a year ago) was Stars. Trident was actually my 4th rewrite.

Awesome, I need to dig out my Trident from storage and install this kit.
It's still being fine tuned... there's probably more features to come!

I'm working on my second Meteor upgrade. It's awesome.
WoW, i need this for my Bally Star Trek.
can you make this to the multiball version and make a video when you do it?
That is so awesome!! Will we be able to do this for System 1 games?? Would love to do this to Totem.

Only Bally/Stern games.

Do you know if this type of mod can be done for Williams 3-6?
At this point no, although there are other ways to mod games. There's a system called P-ROC that can be used to replace MPU boards.
