My stomping grounds! Too bad you missed the Albany Institute of History and Art (Also a neat museum) you might have liked it. Thanks for coming to my city :) I hope you had a fun time. I think you guys would have really liked Honest Weight Co-Op too. I'm really happy you chose to hang out in the parks. It's also been uncommonly warm here, so I'm glad you guys came when it wasn't cold and rainy. (Though I suppose you would have been used to that, being from England? xD)
Thanks for doing right by Albany. There is a place called the Honest Weight Food Co-Op that I think you would have enjoyed. It's not too far from the Hannaford.
You were in my neighborhood! I live around the corner from the cathedral. Ironically, when you were at 6 Mile Waterworks, you were only about a half mile from Whole Foods. I am glad you went to Hannaford, though. They are my preferred grocery store.
The whole foods is about 2 miles north of 6 mile water works - you just missed it. I hope you got Saratoga brand chips as potato "crisps" were invented in Saratoga, just north of Albany.
The State University of New York building you showed early on in Albany is known as SUNY Central & is an administrative building for all the schools that are part of the SUNY system so it is not a college/university building where students go.
Hi Stacey and Kev. It's interesting to see the difference between State and government buildings. You got some great pictures of the plaza. In the warmer months there are concerts in Washington Park. I loved your reaction to Hannaford, lol. Yes, you definitely need chips/crisps with a sandwich they just go together. It's a shame so much was closed. Yes, most of that is weekday. So glad you got to enjoy the great weather. As always thank you for taking us on your adventures. ❤❤
Welcome to the area. Too bad you missed the tour of the capital. It has tons of hand stone carvings. The Whole Foods is in the next town over in Colonie and another similar store The Fresh Market is up the interstate in Latham.
Oh man! If I would have known you were in the area I would have loved to have met up and showed you some fun places. I’m a subscriber and really enjoy the channel. Safe travels!
Hi , Are u heading 4 Burlington VT ? As there is an LL Bean store open 9 - 20 hrs on route 2 in Williston VT its on route to Ben & Jerry's in Waterbury VT . I lived in new york for forty years of my life before moving to Florida and never once went to my capital of Albany haha. It looked beautiful. Ps my sonic order is a grape slushie and onion rings. Don't judge me haha
I know, They never went down to the concourse there was probably a weekend food festival or craft fair going on, literally right under their feet and they didn't even realize it.
Who else would have a Sonic milkshake for breakfast or is it just us?😅
Thank you for sharing- Seems a wonderful journey!
I grew up there and couldn't believe you actually made it a destination! Lovely video, though!

You have to explore the Hudson River Valley here NY
New York State also produces a lot of Maple syrup!

Inside the MVP Arena in Albany is the "International Professional Wrestling Hall of Fame".
Supermarket sushi in the park 😂😂😂 I am shocked you didn't get attacked by the geese
Haha, supermarket sushi is how we roll 🤣
Very very very different Albany & Manhattan even though they are in the same state.
You were close to Vermont, you should have checked it out, it's a really unique state, scenic with small, fun cities
We drive through Vermont in tonight's video 😁
Enjoying the roadtrip. will you be doing a vlog on the route you took?
Hi, yes we'll do a video and will cover this 👍
Ayyy I work in Albany! Used to work in the Empire State Plaza where you were, but now I work a bit down the road at the state office campus.
Oh man! If I would have known you were in the area I would have loved to have met up and showed you some fun places. I’m a subscriber and really enjoy the channel. Safe travels!

Hi yes, in the next video, we head to Burlington, and we do indeed visit the Ben and Jerry's Factory 😁

That sounds like a great order lol. And Albany was really nice
Pringles used to be good. They changed them and now I'll never buy them again, it's just tasteless air.
Haha, Kev agrees 😆
its a shame you missed the capitol building its very nice but you picked possibly the worst hannaford ever to visit
