With the line you did go for, using Sleepy Maiden was unnecessary. It’s better to save it for some utility situation where you can equip an Anemone and link off the monster to get Anemone’s effect off in a messy situation, usually near the start of the turn. I have a few criticisms/opinions about this list (though I’m not the one that topped an event with it): - I strongly feel that you need to be playing two Sea Angel. Searching a dive on your next turn is pretty strong. I would cut the Splash Mage since it almost never does anything (you get locked into Cyberse so you can’t use it to make XYZ and in every turn 1 generic combo, you just end up with a random extra link monster on field that does nothing); making and relying on Triangle in those kinds of game states is almost always possible and better. - I prefer to play two Battle Ocean. Even though the deck doesn’t live and die by it anymore, it can be nice to open it and search Dive with Sea Angel, which often ends up in making both Toad and Kragen (well, I guess this deck might need to run a Mandarin for that to work consistently) - I think that not playing droplets is a wasted opportunity with the Anemone interaction. It can be especially useful if you are running out of resources and need to activate Sleepy Maiden to equip an Anemone to a random link 1. - Personally I still play 2x Sea Nettle and 2x Springirl but I think playing 3 Springirl makes sense, too.

Or we need field protector. Battle ocean is the important thing and it's so fragile. Once you lose your battle ocean, your link monster on the extra zone is kinda useless
I dont play the Eria. If i can make a Wonder heart Beatdown for big damage, its better and it can still get to Argonaut / Bubble reef. Prefferences. I love that NOW there are options. By the way... Basalalima is such a great card. It allows you to get through the Annoyance that is DUAL removal at times. Because not everyone reads carda or they play different. They will always let me Resolve Pascalus/MBT, so because i just need those 2 for the combo, i can send Basalalima. And once im actually doing the Links. They try popping it with Dpe only to get blocked by Basalalima.
I started playing Eria only for one reason: it can link off a nib token, and is the only water link that can do so. I haven't tested Basalalima, but it just seems really, really bad to draw. Wave protects everything anyways, so if your opponent outs ocean after two negates and still kills you with 4500 damage to spare, so be it.
@@Argobus1 I see that Might consider getting myself an Eria. It happened to me against kaijus. Not being able to link up a Gadarla or the Earth bug one. The Basalalima is sort of a Dead draw. But even if you draw the one. I like that you can use Coral triangle to make her into a wave, or use her as fodder for Mining, or particularly Twin twisters/Dinomischus. Cards that i personally play to avoid certain matchups. Because marincess are always looping stuff... I dont really mind dropping one cards except when i brick and dont even get a single Play maker. In the end. Basalalima has saved me more than its been a Dead draw, and because of how plays are made, i dont particularly feel like it weights on my plays. Buble reef to discard her and special summon a banished one. Which NOW its way easier to perform. Before the new wave of support came. I had a Bad time deciding which of them were worth the try. And Its one that didnt stick like Seahorse or MBT. But still had its uses Just like Pascalus and Mandarin. Pascalus is great for Baiting. Monkey clicking opponents destroy it not realizing she specials one. And Most of the times i feel confident in summoning like a Seahorse or Mbt. With sea horse in hand, it doesnt matter if they negate it. However, Basalalimas case is that shes the one card my opponents tend to look for when they see it cause they know their DPE will not do its desired play on my mobs if shes there. Or they dont read it and proc for plusing.
i will never understand why people play silent angler over sea nettle like i get it haha funny stealth kragen with the shark but I just don't think it's worth it as it conflicts with the engine itself.
Short Question i dont get why people are only playing 1Copy of Battle Ocean. If you Banish Ocean with Desires your game is basically over or am i missing something?

no, you'd rather see your handtrap than your wave, it's a brick going 2nd
Nice notification 22 hours after it was uploaded RUclips 👍
MBT= Marincess Blue Tang
Oh boy! 1am!
Damn i came back to this and I'm still disappointed
Gamiciel is a must have with Argonaut
He really put dark world and powerful in the same sentence 💀💀
Funny enough, im building MarinSUS and Ignister in MD rn
Marincess Blue Tang is basically female MBT lol
Now I need Marincess Blue Tang x Stratos fanfiction
This was clearly over 10 minutes Joseph
I do that always i see those cards...
Why are they cyberse?
Made it past the intro and… LIKE HARD
i think this deck should play more fieldspells right ? after all sea angel is generic and if u draw the fieldspell u can search dive or wave
@@Argobus1
I see that
Might consider getting myself an Eria.
Look at them LEGS
Marinsus
Not better than colossSUS
Alright comments section, go home. He beat all of us to it.
I knew in my heart of hearts it had already been said but i still had to see
@Ignister light PegaSUS
Short Question i dont get why people are only playing 1Copy of Battle Ocean. If you Banish Ocean with Desires your game is basically over or am i missing something?
That's why I bring 2 battle ocean and 2 dive instead of 1 battle ocean + 3 marincess dive
okay I'll still say it's kind of criminal that utopia _still_ didnt get a TMT post BROL, i know it got a SMD but that really doesnt do it justice for how much the support did for the deck since LIOV's dragonic pass
justice for the goku archetype
Have you seen Joshua Schmidt’s newest Salamangreat list?
Next day he posts a video of the list, win!
Its Salamangreat, but Water
Lol I'm confused about the directions they're looking at. Doesn't seem they're looking at each other, but they are?
It's better than the one take testing
Somehow I *knew* that the winning argument would be something about waifus.
Blue Tang Clan rise up
