A bit too tall for his heroines - though the same was said about Amitabh - but this guy is taller I think - 6' 4"?
And while Amitabh CAN act, this guy, like his father, is just a wooden face, but his Father had charm - it is a undefinable quality that Rajesh Khanna had in bunches - for some reason audiences did not take to him
Manoj ji was charming actor before he became only Bharat n started copying dilip Kumar ji. Kunal was launched early. He was only 16. he looked younger than opposite heroines. I liked him in kalakar n ghungroo. If he would have get proper launch in late 80s would have done something more great for him. Although was not much talented but he deserved some success. 😄
I never liked this actor and thought he was completely devoid of charm and his dialogue delivery wasn't good. Presumably the audience felt the same way and that's why his films didn't do well.
Manooj kumar's family was the next door neighbour of my nana. Manooj was friend of my mama. This frienship continued for the whole life of my mama. Manooj kumar was a regular visitor of abotabad pakistan. Kunal is of my age and i ave seen him. Manooj kumar sb speak hindku like us.
Its very good to know that Kunal Ji is happy and doing very well. May God continue to bless him and his family.
He was tall, handsome and very talented. Proper hero material. Really liked him. Very bad luck for him.
He was very good Actor. Manoj Kumar was also working with Prakash Mehra in Insaan Ki Aulad which was shelved. In 1980s Prakash Mehra had launched a Film with Kunal and Tina Munium but it was shelved. Then later Manoj Kumar made Film Film with him for the last time Mera Bharat which was retitled to Jai Hind.

Somehow i feel that kunal looks just ordinary. If only he changed his hairstyle.
I vividly remember him for "Neele Neele Ambar par". Looking at his other film shots I feel later he matured in his acting skills but poor film selection led him nowhere. But glad to know he is happy in his life!
Kalaakaar was a remake from a Tamil Blockbuster "Payanangal Mudivathillai"....the song Neele Neele Ambar Parr was also the same tune from the tamil song "Ilaya Nila"
He was avery good actor andvdirector .But he did not haveca good destiny,fate,luck in the cinema industry due to stiff competition.
He was never hero material. Didn’t have the looks or body. At best he was a supporting actor for main leads 😅

Thank God he refused 'Mein ne Pyar Kiya', Sakman Khan owned that role, if Kunal was in the film, he would not have the same imoact as Salman . The audience just loved Salman.

So what, Kunal tried his luck at acting and it did not work out, so he chose a different path and has been very successful.. Lucky for him with all this dark side of Bollywood.. Remember this dirty industry with so much exploitation and even maybe murders.
Mr Manoj kumar was an upright and virtuous man in that gutter industry even at that time where affairs among the stars were rife, with no respect for their spouses.

Logon ne Kunal ko unke father se compare kiya jo thik nahin tha, acting aur personality bhi badia thi unki but wo kahte hain na ki kismat badi cheez hoti hai. Kismat ne saath nahin diya. Aap ne bataya hai Hoshang ji ki Vishaal unke chhote bhai hain? But mujhe lagta hai ki Vishal bade bhai hain.

Even he worked in both films maine pyar kiya and jo jeeta wohi sikander it was not going to give him what he was just looking for? I mean imagine him as prem character it would look completely irrevalant while working as villain in latter film will only open more negative roles to him and he was the son of a superstar he wouldn't have accept to take negative roles aftermath but criticising rajshri production as small this gave him an ego while his father was complete opposite of him and even he worked in low budget movies after his gone era
