I think it was more a comment about how fighting the Covenant was easier. They make it a big point that Mickey has a whole moral issue with his job when the war is over because of how their targets shifted. Buck is lamenting being an ODST because for the majority of his career as one, it was easy. Shoot aliens, don't shoot humans.

If you collect all the audio logs he even speaks with Vergil and is buddy buddy with them. He didn't speak but he had a tonne of character in each cutscene. What is the Master Chief's character in the games? He's a husk that sometimes makes jokes and always tries to bring everyone home alive. That's after 3 games and he still doesn't have much going on but it works because he's a vessel for the player. Rookie doesn't need to have a tonne of depth or talk because the rest of Alpha 9 have him covered. His missions are quiet and focused while Buck and the others are more bombastic and funny to differentiate them as flashbacks.

For April Fools they should've replaced powerups with a chance of getting an armor restraint instead. Imagine being in Plaza, boost sliding on top mid for OS, just to have your spartan completely lock up and freeze with no way to fix it.

Why? If you can stick someone with this you can stick them with a plasma grenade. Why would anyone use a grenade that is so functionally identical to the plasma but doesn't actually kill the target? You'd have to follow up your skillful landing of the nade with a head shot and that isn't very practical in a firefight

This scene pisses me off, this literally debuffs the MJOLNIR armor 10 fold, like who says an insurrectionist can't get a hold of this and make a weapon to fire one of these, the next class of MJOLNIR better not have a fatal flaw such as this

Considering that Noble six died from like 3 to 4 elites then that's means it wouldn't be out the box for Locke since he was handpicked to kill Jul even though the fight should've been better . bruh it's literally the best Osiris scene in the game lmao. Osiris is trash but this scene actually showed some character for Buck and Locke (who've had stories in Halo before) It shows that Buck misses being an ODST that didn't have to worry about who he was shooting at and why and that Locke, despite his time with ONI where you're completely disconnected from the human factor of operating, has issues with taking in one of his heroes as well. Locke and Buck both know they're going to be hated, and look at what the community is doing 4 years after launch. Hating on Osiris. Worst scene? Just plain wrong on that one.
