- I wanted to remix this classic track by J.M.Jarre for many years now... Actually I want to remix the hell out of this guy, :) since it seems that each of his songs is so amazingly balanced between two distant characteristics of music: pop and experimental.It should come as no surprise, that no other artist has ever been so pioneering and yet so popular for such a long time.
Through the years Jarre's music has been the soundtrack of my life in many situations. It was the first electronic music I ever reckoned, and a prophecy of the things that would come - the big change that would happen to my life with rave and the "Wave of The Future" back in early 1990...
I wanted this remix to be a landmark of all these things! I hope I achieved this goal.
Remixing without removing the charasteristics of the original... epic! My critical mind collapses and leaves me dancing in my mind... good work! Keep on like that...

Din copilarie l-am admirat pe J.M.J.ca promotor al muzicii electro-acustice,fiind un pionier in aceasta privinta.Din multe puncte de vedere,cei drept subiective ,multe dintre piesele sa le spunem clasice,sunt mai spectaculoase prin efectele de sunet si lumina remixate fiind..Ex. OXYGEN IV.

Taking a hint or two from Hipnosis 1984 version which is also really good. It also has that triplet bassline.It''s wrongly spelled Hypnosis here on youtube if anybody want to check that old version...

I love the original, and I even produce tracks as well... I must say, this bassline is absolutely perfect. It compliments the whole track very nicely. Though I did agree with one of the comments saying that the lead is a bit bright and lacks a bit of warmth. Either way, it still fits in brilliantly. Nicely done.

This remix is one of the best ones I have heard. The bassline really makes up the thing. The main lead sound could be warmer analogue sound (sounds a bit like a FM synth now instead of the lush original analog), but otherwise this is about as good as it gets. Jarre's own albums are lacking lowest bass, this difference makes this remix sound really great.
