U can slide the rear bench 20cm forward for a much bigger boot and still have a lot of leg space . The heated steering wheel button is on the low side of the dash left side on this left hand model.
The big party trick is you can easily fit two tall people 6ft+ one in the front and one directly behind if you move the rear seats back. Which for me is a good selling point, plus the way the seats fold flat including the front passenger to give you a large load space.
IThis is not really a gorund-up EV design. I'd stump up the extra for an EV3 if I were you, especially the bigger battery model, you can vist relatives and come back home without having to use a public charger.
The EV3 is an excellent option. Well impressed with my EV6 test drive during the week. It has hidden depths and so many improvements. I’ve got so much footage to edit🤯
Hi Brian if your going to have your grandchild and need to take him/ her out in the car the inster boot is no good. You will probably struggle wilt the Zoe boot at first. Only when they get to about 6 months plus can you get a small folding pushchair. And not the all singing and dancing pram that my daughter wonted. That filled my EV 6 boot.

In Ireland, the Inster starts at only €18,995 for the 42kwh car. €21,995 for the 49kwh.
Post brexit living has become shockingly expensive in the UK.
They have incentives and different Vat rates so not as straight forward to compare.
i think after removing the drivers seat the inster might be a candidate for a 3 person robotaxi
The 42kw battery insta is €20,000 including delivery in Ireland, seems a big price difference to uk
It is but you still get Incentives in Ireland. We get stung with 20% vat
Well specked for the price but a tad small.
Renault 5 looks like a nice car
It is a very nice car but we no longer have a local dealer and my wife will not drive to Wolverhampton for service and to collect it.
The Kia EV2 could be a good option
It sure would but I don't think it's coming until 2026 now.
I would buy a second hand spec'ed up Kia Niro instead
That's a good option
so long as it has a valid warranty - they have potential issues..

I wouldn’t buy this car. Not impressed with it. The front is ugly. I know we get different cars in Canada so I hope ours are better looking.

That's great advice. Cheers.
Front looks like a bug-eyed guppy.
