This kind of friendship is hard to get where you can tell your friends what you really have in your heart ,argue and fight with each other but at the end of the day, you are still together 🙂

IKR! I have a friend who loves this girl. I don't really hate that girl but he has changed himself so much behind her that now I've started to hate him a little. But I can't tell him that as I know he'll get really mad.

It's weird, ALL my friendships are like this.
But then I don't have many friends, the ones I have are scattered around the country/world, and we are all practitioners of an oft misunderstood religion that bases itself on relationships.
I've been called out as recently as today for trying to set up one friend with a woman who is not compatible with our faith, despite being a pretty and fun person. My wife told me that if the situation were reversed, I would not help a "cute fun" guy date one of our 'sisters' in the faith of he wasn't a believer.

Life is easier with a time tested instruction manual, especially one that encourages those who follow it to test it and see if it works even to the point of discarding if it lies.

Mansoor Aljefri It’s jelled down and parted that way. I think this was during the Scream movie phenomenon and Skeet Ulrich had done this hair in the movie.

I don't blame joey for not really liking janice, I have to admit I'm in that same spot.
I think she wasn’t meant to be likeable. Her mannerisms are way over the top and would grate on most people. I think she’s a good character but one not many would like.

I love how honest Joey is with him I mean a real friend will tell you when they don’t like your relationships especially when you realize you aren’t actually crazy about them
I can understand Joey’s situation. It’s really hard to like someone that you already had a natural hatred towards them. Chandler should not force Joey to like Janice. That’s his thing; Joey could not help himself but to despise Janice because of her personality, particularly her laugh.

Chandler really put Joey in a tough spot. He kept pushing for Joey to tell him how he felt, then he told him he needed to say he liked Janice. Like shouldn’t he be appreciative that he was honest with him but was willing to put up with her because he knew how much chandler liked her? It’s a tv show so idk why I’m going so in depth on this lol

But it's true, and it gets to me how people want you to be honest and when you are honest, they can't handle it.
Yep, this was one time I felt he was totally unreasonable and Joey was actually very supportive. He didn’t avoid her, he didn’t mistreat her, he just gave his best friend his honest opinion. And he made an excellent point in that she drove chandler crazy too.
It's interesting how it got put back on Chandler the next season, except he had to contain how much he really liked Kathy, while pretending that he didn't.
I was watching everybody loves Raymond at the same time as friends, and Janice plays a character in that show too. In Everybody Loves Raymond, she's very appealing and I had a major crush on her as a kid. And then I flick onto Friends and found her very obnoxious and annoying. Credit to her for being able to act two completely different characters.
She also has a small role in Seinfeld... George's girlfriend, I think.
Yes in Raymond she’s a much more likeable character.

Actually one of the things i like about 90's and 2000's is that most clothes were large enough that anyone with any size and bodyshape could wear. Just look at Joey's shirt, it feels so comfortable and it suits him.

It was wrong of Chandler to expect Joey to like Janice but it was also wrong of Joey to not even try to make his friend happy.
