Just imagine how that would be on a human scale. You're a 1 foot tall dwarf with testicles half the size of your body. You find the Woman of your dreams. She is 12 feet tall. You proceed to bite her ankle and your body slowly melts away until only your jiggly balls hang on her leg. Did I just describe marriage?
I knew about their, um, interesting reproductive methods, but I didn't know researchers are looking into anglerfish immune systems and seeing how exactly similar it is to organ transplants! Nature is so cool, and so are the scientists who are constantly helping us uncover how we can learn from her.
Tbh I thought the angler fish was really cool never once had scared me. Not unless I was swimming in the deep ocean and accidentally stumble upon one😮😂 But let's be real my arse ain't going past ankle deep ocean water nope nuh uh no way Jose not happening uh uh nope I'm good plus I don't have gills I don't belong down there. Always loved these fish and knew about this before the short but was pleasant to watch regardless.
What a crazy way to live your life. If you're a male anglerfish, your only purpose in life is to become a parasitic set of testicles 😂
Life always finds a way....
