Is there anything better than visiting old stomping grounds? Alyssa and Shaun took a weekend to visit Fontana Village in TN!

We're Adrianne and Alyssa, two sisters who are completely Disney obsessed. What started out as a website in 2015 to store all the research and planning we'd completed for our own Disney trips, it morphed into a site for planning, trip reports, and all the tips and tricks we've learned along the way! In 2018, we added the RUclips channel to store a few videos for easy access on the website, then the addition of a few vlogs we'd put together of our recent trips. In 2020, we decided to dive headlong in the RUclips space and are loving this new creative outlet! Thank you so much for joining us here at WDW Bound!

I love the mountains and this looks amazing!
This place looks gorgeous. It looks to be a 5.5 hour drive for us so we may add it to the list of places to visit. Thanks for the good info.
We live in North Carolina and had no idea this place existed. That Wildwood Grill looks amazing!

Was there in the early 80's. Boy, it has changed!

What a relaxing and peaceful place. The mountains looks amazing! 😀
We spent two weeks every summer in the 1950s…my uncle worked for the resort…I remember that Olympic pool and the store. We also did horseback riding, hikes, and lots of picnics!
We used to go all the time when we were kids! That pool was amazing!
What a great place, so much open space. The cabins are cool! Looks a fab place to visit.
Beautiful mountains around. Is it Great Smoky mountains already?
That village is brilliant for families as it caters for all ages, play area for kids, pool to relax and a games room for older kids, love the stream and the Jesus hedges 💖
I don’t know why but it made me think of dirty dancing
It is so cool. Mesmerized to see such beautiful place. We as a family always prefer such place.
This place is so beautiful
Such a cute little village.
I love visiting older places like this.
What a fun place to take the family!
Thank you for posting! I worked at the resort and lived in a cabin to the left of where you stayed on the hill. This video brought back the nostalgic memories that I was looking for 💚
That’s so cool! Fontana is such a hidden gem!
👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼🤝🤝🤝🤝😍😍
My dad was born on eagle Creek at Fontana, was a teenager when the dam was built. His. Dad drove the steam engine that hauled the ore out of the copper mine there on other side of lake. We used to have our family reunions there at the village.
That is so cool!
Thank you for posting this video. Fontana is near and dear to my heart ❤ it's nice to see that it has been well maintained. Those clogging conventions were so much fun.
This is such a lovely place to visit, so beautiful. I like the cabin, spacious and fully furnished.
