Bro. She was surrounded by the innocent families of the innocents who were kidnapped. You don't have to take sides. One side wanted war. They got it. The same war you will have in your country when islam rises. You can be honest and truthful.
Hello, Barucha! Yes, I know what you mean. Nowadays we must be very careful with what we say because people are very easily offended and one of the things I DON'T want on my channel is for people to spread hate or bad feelings towards each other. For me? I am on the side of peace and always will be, no matter what. Thank you for dropping by and sharing those thoughts!
There is nothing complicated with feeling sadnes for ppl that were taken from their home many of them just after watching horrible things happaning to there family and friends. Taking hoatages is wrong, its not controvertial. Thanks for the reaction and the basic human dignity, and sensitivity. ❤❤❤
the Hebrew ending is about the hostages in the tunnels; “there is no air left to breathe, no space, I am gone day by day, they are children, all goodness, one by one”. She speaks the pain every Jew feels right now. and every loving human.
Loved the performance, loved her voice, l think she should have won Euro vision. Hoping that the kidnapped people come home soon with love from South Africa
The song resembles the grief of Israel after the October 7th massacre and that's why it was not allowed to be presented in this version at the Eurovision. What a beautiful voice Eden Golan has! She performs this song with so much emotion.
This performance was in Tel Aviv in Rabin Sq and the people standing behind her are the families of the hostages, whose pictures they are holding up. That`s why it was such a very emotional performance and more raw, less polished for being just her vocal and a piano which made it all the more powerful, in my opinion.
As Jews, the more people try to tear us down, the more it unites us. We have survived thousands of yrs through pogroms, slavery and genocide bc we believe in holding each other up, + embracing life-chai! Am Israel Chai. We will always survive and Eden is the embodiment of the Jewish spirit of resilience and moving forward even in the darkest times. 9:05
Even though this arrangement here isn't nearly as dynamic as the video, because it's just the piano here, and her vocals aren't as crisp, and she doesn't try for the high notes, but the obvious emotion in her voice is still moving. It brought tears to my eyes. Your message for peace is a credit to you. Peace.
I have seen few other songs with much stronger political statement that were allowed to participate. some of those songs even won the contest. I guess when it comes to Israelis; singing out for your pain and sorrow is political and forbidden in the Eurovision.
@@adirshimshon9965 The Spanish public at home gave 12 televote points to Eden. For the beautiful song and performance, and I think also in support. As a reaction to all the hate against her and the jewish people by many Spanish people. Stay strong and safe. ❤
@@Angeles726 Yes, that is true; I shouldn't mark ALL Spanish people as blind haters towards my country because of some few mass public demonstrations against Israel and the actions of the government.
Eden is the clear winner. She had the most grace, poise, and at the age of 20, more maturity than most of the whiny contestants who were many years older than her (nasty thug is 30 yo but acts like she is 13).
Good reaction. But she's not nerveous. She's heartbroken. The final lyrics says- "There is no more air to breathe no room left in here I'm fading away, day by day, They're all such good children, Each and every one of them". The "no air to breathe" refers to the hostages underground in the tunnles. hostages which returned said it was humid and was nearly impossible to breathe. "No more room left in here" refers to those few Nova survivors who tried hiding in the tiny bomb shelters which had little to no room to store so many people. Later they turned into a death traps.
Before she performed she spoke to a girl whose father was dragged into the Gaza Hamas tunnels. So Eden was very emotional, she told in an interview. This performance among the families was even harder for her than facing all those awful, ignorant boooing people in the Eurovision stadium, which was hard for her as well. Immagine all those days in Malmo facing hated, and people not wanting to hear her voice and message of pain and hope. People trying to silence their pain. The fathers, elderly and young men are kept in the worst conditions. Some in cages (!) dozens of meters underground, told an elderly woman who was traded in November for 3 emprisoned terrorists and luckily came out of the tunnels.
What do you think of this performance? Share your thoughts and feelings! Always feel free to express yourself in an honest but polite manner!

It’s not complicated at all- release all the hostages now and nobody has to die. It’s actually that simple
