Hi Jackie, I agree with you, Slow life is above all a way of thinking, a mental attitude. In my experience, I can tell you that even when I lived in Milan that was my way of acting. I lived there only for four years because in that period with my work I was forced. But in any case, I only moved by bicycle, I had the vegetable garden on the balcony and I allowed myself moments in nature. However, I needed more contact with nature and as soon as it was possible I moved to the hilly area not far from Lake Como. Here I can walk for hours in nature. In the first period I reached the office in Milan by train and then I started working remotely. So it is possible, you have to change the way you look at things. Anyway, congratulations for your channel and for your cottage. You have a splendid view from there.

I am retired now; so it makes it easier to slow down; but I have already found that you can so easily over schedule belonging to groups accepting too many social invitations, When I did work; I really kept extra events, or invites to a minimum and learned to say NO. I always got up early to enjoy my coffee, go outside, read awhile before getting ready for work.

Looks nice video but l do not understand why everyone work 8 hours a day , it is long hours for work , if you are freelancer you work for 4 hours a day or 6 and maybe with high income than work for 8 hours a day , Have a great day ❤

I do work in the office!! I go in twice a week. So still remote a few days but not fully.
For me, Slow life is above all a way of thinking, a mental attitude. A different way to look things. And that was the case when I was in the office every day from 9:00 to 6:00 or even later. Not ideal, but a good compromise. Of course, I didn't have the channel yet.
