    I am electrical engineer, as electrical engineering jobs outsourced by comapnies to China, India, it was very difficult to find job in electrical engineering related fields, I became software developer, now I am working on FPGA skills to get back into electrical engineering jobs, I know its difficult to find job in electrical engineering but I can give it a try, otherwise I have to be software developer my entire life

      Wow, it really shows that you are passionate about electrical engineering. I'm so sorry to hear that it's been hard to find a job in the field you actually want :/ But you clearly have a plan to get there, so that's amazing. I wish you the best of luck on getting back into EE 🙏I hope it works out for you.

    This video very helpful thank, and yes I am a late bloomer, trying to get into another career, I have been looking into the fastest way to get into coding, and was never into anything dealing with tech type work... im 52 and I want to get out of my aviation security job, i am my wifes caregiver and on fmla right now, and I got 3 weeks till I go back to work, my wife just finished her heart and kidney transplants which is a big reason im looking for remote type work, I dont want to go back to work I'd rather get into an entry level type job that is connected with coding, so that as im studying im within the element... do u know of any jobs like that? Or any suggestions i could try? Thanks again and i subscribed to your channel, I still want to check out your other videos

    Hey Kyla! I wanted to ask how come you didn’t choose tripleten during your research for which bootcamp would be best for you? How would you compare the bootcamp you completed vs tripleten?

    • @kylaquilos
      @kylaquilos  2 месяца назад

      Hi Hillary! I am so sorry I didn't see this comment sooner!! TripleTen has actually grown a lot over the years and when I did my bootcamp, I wasn't aware of this program which was years ago. The biggest thing I can tell is the lifetime support that TripleTen offers, which is something I didn't get from the program I did. This was probably the most surprising to me for a company to offer because that's overhead they don't need after you've graduated.
      Also, I didn't do the big and well known programs at the time like Springboard or General Assembly because of the price. I didn't wanna pay for more loans on top of what I had haha so it was a huge factor for me. The price I paid for mine is comparable to what TripleTen offers.
      Again, I am so so sorry I missed this comment 😭

      Annoying . People with a 4 year degree AND internship Experience are having hard times finding jobs . So what makes her think doing a 3-6 month boot camp
      Will trump
      That .

      If you had watched the video, I made it clear that I was endorsing a bootcamp. I state this clearly and the video should have displayed a tag that this includes a paid promotion, however, I also made it clear that these are things that I was looking out for when I was looking into bootcamps. Of course I would state that the brand I recommend has these things as well because I actually believe in their program. If you didn't want to watch a video with a paid promotion, please click away rather than commenting this.

      The people who would appreciate this video require motivation to keep working on their goal, not the negativity from this comment. Others follow a different path than you and are working hard to be successful in their own way.

      @@kylaquilos I’m giving my opinion based on imperial evidence . I’ve had SEVERAL friends go down the Bootcamp route and pay $15,000 + for a “coding Bootcamp” that was suppose to get them ready to be a Software engineer in just a few months …. Out of 4 of them NONE were able to land any type of software role .
      They have that debt though from the camp.
      It’s not about being negative , but about being realistic .
      If people with 4 year degrees and experience are having a really difficult time/ impossible time finding work , what makes it seem that a 4-6 month boot camp grad will do any better besides “they’ll work harder “ .

    • @franx_91
      @franx_91 4 месяца назад +3

      Regardless of it being a sponsored post, in the video she mentions several times things to research and look out for if you’re considering a bootcamp as a starting point to switch careers. When I was considering a bootcamp, these types of videos were invaluable. Ultimately it’s up to the individual to make the decision whether or not a bootcamp or a 4 year degree is right for them. Not everyone can make a 4 year degree work. Not to mention, this bootcamp offers a money back guarantee so if someone attends and doesn’t get a job, that’s a pretty good fallback 🤷🏻‍♀️ the tech market is awful for everyone right now, bootcamp grads and college grads alike

    Hi there so im considering tripleten ive been doing a bunch of research on them and i spoke with a advisor over the phone and i even got approved on one of there payment plans but is tripleten really worth the money i would be spending i really want to be able to get into the cyber security fields and triple ten recommended i go for quality assurance engineer

    • @kylaquilos
      @kylaquilos  3 месяца назад

      Hi! To be honest, I think you should go into cyber security if that’s the path you wanna be on. In my opinion, you have to be interested in what you’re doing to follow through with it. I wouldn’t be able to understand why they recommended that because I’m not aware of the discussion you had, but ultimately it should be up to you!
