The main problem I've had with the beta is the players. Most of the time the hunters do their role, but loads of people don't know how to use the monster and just have no interest in evolving. Too many times the game has ended in 3 minutes because the stage 1 monster just faces the hunters straight away, and always looses.

That's a problem that theoretically should solve itself over time as players learn the game and as you level up and get matched with players on your skill level. They stated they have a good skill based matchmaking :)

Evolve should create a monster vs monster arena. Where you can play any Evolve monster you want to and battle other Evolve monsters. PvP for MONSTERS!!!

Ghost and anyone else who would like a great tip, In the livestream Coach showed off a great strategy of using the extra smell range skill to help increase the effectiveness of all of wraiths assassin abilities. He also went 3 points into abduction at stage one making him a brutal starting force. If you'd like to see his gameplay session yourself, he plays the 2nd to last match on the evolve all about wraith livestream which you can find on the Evolve youtube channel.
OMG Wraith is so amazing, it took him like a minute and half to take down all the hunters. With Goliath and Kraken it takes him like 2-3 min (no offense ghost) to take down all the hunters. Wraith is just so amazing

Specifically, this game-play alone is a proof of the closest we'll get to a Predator-like, Alien: Isolation multi-player where you play as the non-human. I'm kind of at a loss for words a bit, but I think some of you guys and gals know what I mean. Too bad it is un-popular, still, even today. Hope-fully I'll be able to take a crack at this one in the near future and because it's kind of fun.

For some techniques on Wraith: try extreme long distance abductions (maybe smell distance perk to see them farther away), try sneak attacks while invisible during decoy, and try supernova then decoy immediately after (decoy takes on the supernova ability). Have fun.

I think I have the same health of the wraith in stage 1
Near as I can tell Archon, the bots in this game are actually quite competent compared to the AI in other, similar games. In games like Smite the AI is utterly stupid to the point where every match plays out basically the exact same other than the player's build(s) and movements. Plus the dev team seemed to always interpret "increasing AI difficulty" as "make the AI characters on the player's team suck and make the opponents slightly smarter" with the end result being that you have to carry your entire, retarded AI team instead of getting an experience more like playing an actual pvp game against and with people of your level, which is another thing. Smite matchmaker (and indeed a lot of games with pvp matchmaking) is shit. I always ended up with people way above my skill level after a 2-3 victories (sometimes ones that were by dumb luck) and then after a streak of 5-6 losses got knocked down to a point where I could win again, then after a lucky streak of 2-3 victories the cycle repeats itself, leading to a very unsatisfying experience.
The game's matchmaker had zero sense of dealing a player's skill limit and would constantly expect you to just keep getting better at the game as if you were an AI or something. What if I don't want to? What if I like the level of play I am at and don't want to devote more of my life to your game like being the best at it is some kind of laudable goal?
Near as I can tell the AI in Evolve actually gives you the kind of experience I wanted from Smite: I wanted to just do awesome things with awesome, powerful characters without there being no challenge or difficulty to it, and without being expected to just keep getting better at the game all the time like I'm some kind of organism that specifically evolved to play that game or some shit.
Tips for wraith
Tip 1:when wraith is stage one and the hunters or on your tail use the warp blast to get out of the hunters sight
Tip 2:the points you would want to choose for skills is
1 point for warp blast:To make a quick escape
1 point for decoy:To distract the hunters
1 point for super nova:For offense attack

Monsters can have genders in the same way humans and animals have genders
Most monsters in stories are part of their own species. Unless they reproduce asexually, they can be whatever they need to be.
These monsters are just alien species. Most species have a male and a female.
They're types of animals, so I think they can.
We obviously are gonna wanna see some more Wraith gameplay, but I'd also like to see some more human gameplay. We haven't seen much of that and I feel that needs to be promoted as well so people don't think it's all about the monster. Also to shoe people different strategies and tactics so people are noons and avoid playing as the humans. Show how teamwork is needed and that the monster CAN be defeated. But great videos I enjoy watching them :)
The wraith really ruined the user experience of the whole game.
How so? I'm curious of your reasoning behind it all.
While, yes, the Wraith is extremely squishy, it is nigh-impossible to actually hit it and while I would normally congratulate the devs for this it makes actually killing it with a team of random people *extremely* difficult (impossible without an extreme amount of luck). Couple that with the fact that most people have that monster by now, random matches are pretty much useless.
The Faceless Stranger I had no trouble killing most Wraith players, even with random teammates, although...
When playing as Wraith I use some tactics which I don't even know how they could counter. Trapping her can be reeeally tricky.

Man, I'm so excited for this game. Wraith looks awesome. I wasn't sure how they could make something so distinct from Goliath and Kraken but she looks like a great tradeoff between health and sheer power. I'd really like to see you show her off more.

I have never lost with Wraith. I use Decoy, Supernova and Warp Blast. I use the cool down reduction perk.
TIPS: Spam SMELL if you see them use Decoy and walk in the other direction, if you are at the edge of the map walk into the group and the second Decoy ends Warp 3 times through them, then use Warp Blast, you need to aim it so you get the maximum range from it otherwise the delay before the explosion will hinder you more than the warp aided you. After your Warp Blast is completely over you should have another Warp to use, if Decoy has recharged it wouldn't hurt to throw one out. After all of this you have put incredible distance between you and your hunters in approx. 7 seconds. When Stage 3 sneak to the Power Relay, only once as Wraith have a group of Hunters been ballsy enough to actually hunt me at Stage 3, most prefer to set up traps etc. at the Relay. The sneaking means they will have no advantage from knowing where you are coming from. Just before attacking smell to locate all of the Hunters. Warp Blast in on any group if there is one, if not then target the medic if you can identify it. Spam SN and Decoy, if you down someone, leave them alone. They are sure to draw in other Hunters who will go to aid them the second you turn your back, Warp Blast at them to knock them back and stop the revive. If there is one Hunter left use Pounce, you will keep hitting them until they die.
This goes for any monster. Always check who the Medic is, target them ESPECIALLY if they are Lazarus, always leave incap'd Hunter but make sure you have a knockback ability at the ready to smash Laz when he thinks you're distracted.
THIS DOES WORK! I have never lost as Wraith, and I don't plan on losing any time soon. I've played maybe 30+ matches and only been domed before Stage 3 about 6 times and only Hunted at Stage 3 once.
Not sure if you know this, but if you use supernova and follow it up with a decoy, your decoy will inherit the supernova. Very useful for dealing lots of damage without putting yourself in the line of fire.
Ghost, it seems you might have to have all four skills available to you. That way you have more options at your disposal because as Wraith you really have to control the battle field and be sneaky about it, at least at first.
But anyway great first game with Wraith, you totally dominated in this game.

The first time you got trap actually can be used as a mind game. Sending decoy non-stop for a while, than going in as the real thing, while they summer assume it's another decoy, you go ham on them.
Playing like you're scare, and while they split to search you take the game to them or something.
yea, that shit is so annoying. I really hope they slow the decoy cooldown, its like cheating. Plus the decoy is way to strong

Great job, a trick to wraith is to activate super nova the decoy, then the decoy will have the supernova. Another thing is that decoys have no health, just a timer, which U can extend by leveling it up.

ghost, use the damage reduction perk with the wraith. It seems like it is a great perk for her since shes weaker then the rest
Ghost, a tip! I've seen some gameplay videos of Wraith and it seems like Supernova + Abduction is a must have combination if the hunters leave the arena of Supernova. She will still be using the skill even if your Abduction is far. I can't confirm this since I don't have the game, but try it out!

Hey again ghost nice wraith play...I think stamina recharge could have helped more. Since Wraith zips through the area imagine if that recharged faster. Hunters would be confused. also Abduction looks like you may need to lead the target a little from long range.
If you look at 15:51 it showed underneath performance that there was a few that went down in damage showing that it was not his first time playing
