Honestly, there's nothing about this Wraith gameplay that hold up to the current meta (all of 40 ppl lol). Not the builds or the flee till 3 "strategy".
Wraiths were easy once you understood how they worked. In my case i also miss the game. Was unbeatable with elder kraken. Got a 58 win 0 lose streak (all my games win with this monster)
Wraiths were the biggest punishers of bad teamwork, which is probably why you disliked them the most of you didn't play with a group of friends as hunters. Like this video shows, stealth is by far the best way to play wraith early game, and bad teamwork with hunters easily opens you up to being picked off very easily.

Once, they caught up to me and caught me in a dome, but I climbed to the tallest peak and hid against The rocks. They totally lost track of me, despite standing still the the entire duration of the dome: when they watched the little motion tracker replay at the end, they were losing their shit
I remember one time, I managed to hide myselft into tall grass while in second form. They went past me at 2 meter without seeing me. Thinking I was away. I evolved behind there ass. Then they said I was a cheater. It was glorious.
Wraiths small size is so great for waiting in a bush for an easy pounce. One time this medic fell way behind after getting caught in a trap. Poor guy, his team didnt wait on him xD. Walked right into me.

I love this coming back into my recommendations and reminding me of how fun it was to play wraith, just reminds me of all the bad teamwork I'd find where the MEDIC would run off by themselves and easily get picked off by me in wraiths first form lol, this game heavily rewarded stealth wraith gameplay and I was so about that action 😂

Dome was easy. If you were alone you sneaked as a hunter while pinging the monster. If your buddies were close you used slows - trackers on it. If you were with your team you domed.
Was so much fun being the monster in this game dude. So sad they didn’t do more with the hunters. All you did as a hunter was walking the whole damn game. And most likely die when you finally found the monster at stage 3 lol
Best Wraith play I've ever seen. Although, I'd like to hear your thoughts about this: Wraith move normally by FLOATING, while sneaking by CRAWLING. How come it always left a trail while it was floating?
It has to float somehow, maybe the hunter's are tracking it's emissions? Good a lore reason as any. How would you explain how the fuck the Behemoth sneaks.

I think Evolve was the biggest shame to happen in all gaming history. A PRIME game made by a developer too young to play the over-greedy game like DICE/EA and others :'(. I only picked it up 1.5yr after release and got a little taste, even waiting the 45m for a game like rainbow six siege but somehow can't survive like RB6 :'( was never enough and it's gone now.
Anyone from 2019 coming back to enjoy some sweet memories of this game? If they tried to recover the original game, change some things, add some stuff, and make it cheap like $15 or something, it would be soooo popular.

The flaw is you can't atk and it wasn't perfect invisibility don't see how it was broken when it is literally just an escape. Now the decoy doing damage or even trying to engage might be determined as a broken aspect but and I would have agreed to programming it to try and run instead of charging or at least have it vanish when it swings and makes contact would be a bit closer to fair imo

The game went from 60 international players up to 1549, there's a ps4 community called evolve lfg and all of the remaining evolve players including me are in there
tis a shame, I am wanting to get into the game now but can't. I feel this suffered from what another fav game of mine natural selection did, the learning curve is just too big. If they did the whole pay streamers to play it, this game might have taken off more if people could have seen better game play

I love this game accept for the fact that it tells hunters when to dome. They should use their TRACKING SKILLS to know when to dome.
