I'm a big fan of the restomods. My question is did you weigh the car before and after just to see the difference and that nova turned out beautiful 😍. I also think this would make a great show , MAKING RESTOMODS
Wheels can make or break a car's overall appearance because looks are subjective and with so many hundreds of styles of wheels you may love it - the owner that is - but only a small number of others will approve.
Nice job!! Ignore the purist negative comments. This car is improved everywhere and these need it! Front clip sucks, cant get any tire underneath the rear etc. All they did was improve this one. Reminds me of the vette guys if its not all stock its ruined Must lead a boring fn life lol. Mini or full tubbed on these is awesome
Way to go. Just ruined a super muscle car. There should be a law against people destroying the cars we are trying to preserve. BTW, Chevrolet installed 1828 12 bolt rearends in '67 Novas, and 5,481 in '66 Novas. You're not fooling everyone
Some muscle cars need to be cut up and improved. Since you both sound like the arrogant, snooty factory chalk marks kind of guys, then you should know the first and second gen Chevy 2’s we’re not that great from the factory. They were underpowered, and the front suspension was trash before it ever left the drawing board. And it’s almost like they designed the steering to have a dangerous amount of bump-steer as part of the factory alignment. They basically just ripped off the first gen mustangs and sent em out the door. They were arguably the best looking body that they ever produced. But everything under those bodies were absolute garbage. So… no. You ruin these cars by restoring them. If we’re up to me, I’d cut up every single one that still exist and change everything.
underpower hell only made 6 l79 in 67 production stopped immediately with l79 gm did not want it to compete with new camero.very few street cars could out run 66 l79 chevy 2 in 66 they built 3567 l79 units@@zachbrooks3897
@@zachbrooks3897 Hah, well said! I like the stockish look but done right these cars are simply improved like this. Grew up in the back of a blue wagon same yr. You were right the front suspension brakes etc are garbage. What they did makes the car so much safer to drive and now a performer on the road. The purist crowd is as bad as the vette guys . If it isnt stock its ruined! lol I dont see car guys in general telling them how to build theirs! Its called Hot Rodding.
Low rider is so overdone. Kinda like that other custom car show that “slams” everything to the ground with bags, blah blah blah. Definitely NOT a bitchin’ ride.
The show should be called AKA Magic with metal! Absolutely phenomenal work with complete heart in my job! Who doesn't love that!
That was a beautiful build
Love that show. Wish I had the money to ship my older brother's 56 Chevy to them.

I agree the Nova is my favorite muscle car, what they did is just disgusting! Ruined a classic.
