    As a native Houstonian I didn't want this to end! It brought back so many memories and absolutely have become a huge fan of this channel! Thank you so much for everything do to put the work into something that makes me feel like a 7 year old kiddo watching television in my parents living room!!!

    Big Sur Waterbeds and Grandy's brings back some memories. I had a bed from Big Sur around this time too.

    The last commercial made me feel cozy and relaxed, I don't know why though. Seeing how the structures have barely changed over the decades, it's amazing.
    Also that house on the second commercial looks really cozy and amazing to live in!

    0:58 I looked up that house on Google maps and that neighborhood looks a lot different. that tree is full grown now.

      It had nicer looking faux shutters in 1984. Now it looks like it holds a meth lab.

      I don't think that's the same tree. The present tree is right along side of the front walk, closer to the garage.

      I wonder if the strip mall currently beside it was still there back then. The area used to look pretty nice, but it seems a bit shoddy now.

    Being from SoCal, the only one that rings a bell is the underwear commercial.
    I miss the Ferderated Group commercials with Shadoe Stevens, Cal Worthington (and his dog Spot), Pete Ellis Dodge, National Lumber (Shorty and Cheap Chicken), Del Taco (with Roger C. Carmel & Avery Schreiber) and Pioneer Chicken (with O.J. Simpson).

      The jewelry guy with the messed up ears was legendary Houston Wrestling Promoter Paul Boesch.He held wrestling shows all over suburb of Texas including Dallas,Fort Worth and Mesquite.
