this night market set up reminds us of the Ningxia Night Market in Taipei, ohh I think I've tried pilled sea coconut before in "Es Campur" but never knew that the actual fruit is quite big :)
So many night markets in Taipei! Oh I've never tried Es Campur before. But yes we usually see sea coconut in cans, but this is our first time seeing a real fruit and we're so fascinated seeing one haha!
Yay! Food market episode! Love the backdrop of the mountains in this market. Never seen this fruit! I miss you guys doing your exotic fruits episodes. OOohh, those sweet potatoes are our favorite!! The satay bag is a good deal too.
Thanks guys! The view is amazing here. It's funny that Puri and I had this fruit all the time from the can, and we're super stoked to see the real fruit haha!!! I think the exotic fruit episode was by Nick and Helmi 😁 maybe we should showcase some of our exotic fruits here too!
You can't never go wrong with grilled lamb. Whoa! The enoki mushrooms... Nabol would go nuts! He's a mushroom guy. I totally understand about not having enough space to eat it all. That happens to us all the time. We really enjoy night markets like these two markets. Great episode guys!
The Grilled lamb was our favourite! Haha great to hear Nabol loves mushrooms! Probably a good snack with some drinks ;) Stay safe and healthy during this chaotic period guys!
Fresh coconut.. already cut open too.. 🙂👍 BBQ chicken looks freshly cooked! Yum! Corn is nicely charred.. potatoes.. oh man, you guys are making us hungry! 😋
know that we will love Cameron Highlands for sure! the weather is great, not too cold and not too hot and also they have night market! can't miss it! :)
The weather is one of the reasons why we're here and also for the awesome view! The night market wasn't in our plan initially, but glad we did visit this place!
so many delicious street foods there! enoki mushrooms, haha we both love mushrooms so that would be our must to try for sure haha :) and sweet potato balls?? miss that a lot!
There are so many options, we would be overwhelmed too. One night is definitely not enough! That bebola ubi has two different ubi, orange and purple ones! 😍 Never tried purple sweet potato balls ones before 🤤
haha feel you guys! that's what we feel too when exploring night markets and stomach full already but still so many great stuff to try! ended up took some of the street foods away and bring back to where we stayed! :)
😍The foods look interestingly tasty and some foods I recognize from here in the US. 💕I love the community there at the Market place. Wonderful sharing friends👌🏽👍🏽☺️
Funny that Puri and I always eat the canned sea coconut here, but this was our first time seeing a fresh sea coconut and we're pretty fascinated by it haha!
OMG, it's super crowded! Looks like my kind of place. Sea coconut is awesome, I've never seen it whole like that though. Oh Yea... all those street foods are making me so hungry and has all sorts of cravings now haha. I need some satay, so cheap... it's crazy! Lamb chops look awesome, I thought it was Korean short ribs at first glance. Durian of course, it is Malaysia after all 😜. Great job guys. Next time we're in Malaysia, we'll be sure to visit this night market. 👍LIKE #30
I'm so jealous of you guys right now ..I wish we would have something like this in Houston..that sea coconut looks very interesting..wonder if I can buy it online .definitely going to make that fried enoki this weekend .thanks for the tour guys 👍
Hey there David! I'm sure you're blessed with other good foods there in Houston! Haha not sure about getting it online though, thanks for watching! Take care and stay safe!
Hey Gunner! I would say it does take quite some time to travel to Cameron Highlands. One day if you don't have any other places you want to visit in Malaysia or feeling like you want some nature, then you can then consider Cameron ;)
It is a nice place to visit, I love visiting morning and night markets too! Yes lets all stay home and be safe until this battle is over! Stay safe and stay healthy!
The chicken grill looks very tender and juicy! I like the crispyness of the skin! We used to have that sweet potatoes too! And the corn on cob! Yum! So much food there! I hope you are safe there both, stay safe and healthy guys ❤️👍🏼😊😘
Yea agree that it's not the cheapest, but definitely a fun experience! Thanks for dropping by Josh! Hope you're doing well in your country during this chaotic time, stay safe and healthy!
@@PuriandSue Yes, it's a very interesting time. Akane and I live in Canada (my home country) on the east coast. We are one of the newest countries to be effected, so we don't have much yet (my province only has 3 confirmed cases). That being said, everything is on quarantine to make sure it doesn't spread, so I am finding myself with some extra editing time on my hands since my work is only open a few days a week at this point!
So many tasty dishes and those prices are sooooooooooo cheap compared to European prices. One of the things that really impressed me about Malaysian street food actually is the cleanliness and hygiene compared to neighboring countries.
But but you guys have cheap wine and beer!! Compared to Singapore, we're filthy already haha! Still got lots of room to improve on our countries' cleanliness! 😁
Yoooo! Night market that's where we've been eating like almost every day here in Taiwan hahaha. What the sea coconut never seen that before either 😯 also like the sweet potato good choice 😍🤤 call em kumara in New Zealand. Yen would love the satay n the sweet potato balls. Man seriously you two can eat 😁👍 the lamb looks great 😍
You guys are spoilt with all the choices and night markets available in Taiwan haha!! The lamb was our favourite, but I'm sure can't beat the lamb in NZ!!!
That’s no sea coconut. That’s a palm fruit. There’s plenty in Siem Reap, Cambodia. The juice from its flower is really sweet and they boil down this juice to get palm sugar.
@@PuriandSue One day you gotta try adana, it is from a city in Turkey called Adana, and the lamb is up to 1 year old. The meat is soft, juicy and overall super delicious
YEAAA I can't imagine!! I'm trying to find possible ways to order delivery to support local food stalls during this difficult time. You both too, stay safe and healthy always!
Camera video so good i know this is consfiration, use camera defrent so these this country look like rich good clean but not this is aboute canera video

A bonus night market at the end.. looked like it was less about food and a lot smaller
The first night market was definitely more happening! The other little night market doesn't have many things there.
Great place to visit on the weekend, there are so many food stalls,
interesting reviews, I really want to try all of food, liked
Thanks Phillip, stay safe during this period!

This is a funny species called the sea coconut😋 it's quite different from the coconut fruit.

so many delicious street foods there! enoki mushrooms, haha we both love mushrooms so that would be our must to try for sure haha :) and sweet potato balls?? miss that a lot!
This mushroom was a little oily when it became cold, I think I might prefer the one in Taiwan!
Wow, so happening! The night market looks amazing! Price is reasonable. And so many variety of food! Wow...great video!

woooo so ramaii... i like this kind of market ahahhaha all is cheap .. ohh you have lontar also there.. so niceeee
Hey Senja! Oh you call that lontar there, I'm not sure what it's called here other than sea coconut haha! Thank you~~!! 😍
wow everything looks amazing! can't go wrong with meat on a stick lol... can't choose, eat it all, yum
Haha thanks! That snack is called Satay, super yummy with the peanut sauce!
haha feel you guys! that's what we feel too when exploring night markets and stomach full already but still so many great stuff to try! ended up took some of the street foods away and bring back to where we stayed! :)
Haha yes!! Bringing back to the hotel with the local food is a perfect plan always! :D

Thanks for dropping by Lysu!
Holy crap those lamb chops are SO cheap... they look super juicy too. Omggg sweet potato balls remind me of Taiwan 😍😍😍
The lamb was our favourite! I miss Taiwan's night market too!! So many good foods there!
I remember being here back in october 2019, its a school trip, its one of my best experience ever
😍The foods look interestingly tasty and some foods I recognize from here in the US. 💕I love the community there at the Market place. Wonderful sharing friends👌🏽👍🏽☺️
Never heard of or seen sea coconut before! Cool how you can pick pieces of it off. Now want to try one!

OMG we miss satay. Had a massive craving since before the lockdown 😭 Yes, you definitely must visit night markets here. It's never disappointing 😄

Hungry now and I miss Cameron Highlands
Ahh slow down guys!! Mushrooms, potato balls, lamb.. definitely need to come with an empty stomach hehe..
Haha!! That's why we brought home, can't eat them all here, we had even leftovers for the next morning! 😋
Chicken and lamb are our go-to choices for satay too! 👍🏼
Those satay were good, and with that sauce yums!
it is always fun to go to the night market. I never go to Cameron Highland before hahaha.
always wanted to go there for years now
Hey Gunner! I would say it does take quite some time to travel to Cameron Highlands. One day if you don't have any other places you want to visit in Malaysia or feeling like you want some nature, then you can then consider Cameron ;)
hahaha you did a lot of shopping!! we'd love you showing us when you open those bags!
haha probably food is the only shopping we're proud of showing off! Besides that we don't really like shopping :P
I love night market a lot! But now better stay at home!
Thanks for sharing! 👍🏻💖💖
It is a nice place to visit, I love visiting morning and night markets too! Yes lets all stay home and be safe until this battle is over! Stay safe and stay healthy!
We do the same thing and eat way too much at markets. You’ve gotta make the most of it right 😉
Haha we look at it as a one night experience. Gotta eat them all :P
The chicken grill looks very tender and juicy! I like the crispyness of the skin! We used to have that sweet potatoes too! And the corn on cob! Yum! So much food there! I hope you are safe there both, stay safe and healthy guys ❤️👍🏼😊😘
Well the food is why we're here 😋 Hope you're both doing fine too, take care!
Prices there seem a bit higher (for certain things) than I expected - but a lot of the food is really well priced! Always fun hitting up a market!
Yea agree that it's not the cheapest, but definitely a fun experience! Thanks for dropping by Josh! Hope you're doing well in your country during this chaotic time, stay safe and healthy!

Yea it's really cold compared to our KL city!
Love lamb chop!! Great choice
It was one of our favourite from all the food we bought!

Never saw deep fried enoki mushroom before! Looks kind of like Filipino ukoy
Our first time too haha! We haven't tried Ukoy, went to google it and it does look like it but without the shrimp
But this Enoki was a little too oily :P

Haha coming up from 30 degrees from the KL city, we're freezing haha!!

“Most importantly, street food” - yessss!!!
Haha yes!! Let's be clear and honest why we're here haha!!
i love travelling to cold places
Puri loves cold weather, I'm not so much of a fan haha!
@@PuriandSue well if you live in SIngapore and most of the time you are not in Aircon room, then you will know the feeling lol
Sad to think these kinds of places will probably be shut down and out of business for a while. Hope you're both staying safe and calm out there :)
YEAAA I can't imagine!! I'm trying to find possible ways to order delivery to support local food stalls during this difficult time. You both too, stay safe and healthy always!
