Synopsis

Synopsis
In the summer of 1985 in Hawkins, the newly opened Starcourt Mall has become the focal point of the town, driving other stores out of business. Hawkins chief of police, Jim Hopper, disapproves of Eleven and Mike's budding relationship, while Joyce considers moving out of Hawkins for a better life for her children and herself, leaving the state of the children's friendships and her own relationship with Hopper in the air. Meanwhile, strange power fluctuations trigger Will's awareness of something otherworldly, and Eleven and Max sense something is off about the town's residents. Despite having closed the portal to the Upside Down, they fear that they are all still in danger from it. Not to mention the fact that Dustin's new communication device has picked up a secret transmission that could be bad news for everyone in Hawkins. But no matter what happens, they'll be able to come out okay and beat the bad guys.....or will they?
Stranger Things: Darkness (2021) Update
Synopsis
In the spring of 1986, the party has splintered since the Byers and Eleven moved to California. Mike's become a distant and depressed loner who's only closure is visiting El and Will. Lucas and Max have reconciled their relationship, but Max suffers from her own aftershocks in the wake of Billy's death. Dustin has been too busy for his friends as he's helped found a new D&D club at Hawkins High, but little does he know the dark secrets the members hold. Eleven and Will have had a hard time adjusting to a new life, with their classmates being no help in the slightest. Things start to kick up again when Joyce and Murray find a secret message that changes what they previously thought happened during the Battle of Starcourt. At the same time, dark secrets reveal themselves in Hawkins that propels Dustin, Lucas, Max, Nancy, Steve, and Robin into a mystery that threatens to unravel Hawkins. And finally, Eleven is forced to confront her past alongside Mike, Will, and Jonathan....and while running from the very people who started Project MKUltra. All of these paths will collide, and the truth will lead to a shocking revelation that will connect everything....
Stranger Things: Final Flight (2023) Update
Synopsis
In the winter of 1987, Mike and Eleven have been searching for a way to destroy the Upside Down for over a year, with no success. The rest of the party has been trying to figure out their next move, but since they're only fully together during school breaks there's little chance that they'll pull out. But when a mysterious ally brings El and Mike back to Hawkins, a spark of hope is reignited. It happens no sooner as the Upside Down has begun to eat away at not just Hawkins, but the entire world. Now it's up to our heroes to repair their broken bonds, and to possibly destroy the darkness...if they can. The emotional and epic final chapter is here....
How cool would it be if everything was just a memory/DnD and Steve was like the mail man, Nancy was like just someone they saw outside and so on…

I'm gonna say that this scene shows Steve and Jonathan trying to break in to a military site in order to get a closer look or investigate the huge gate that has been opened in Hawkins. Since we were shown that the military got involved in the end of s4, I can guess that it blocks every entery to the gate and prevents people from getting close to it (maybe even evacuating Hawkins from citizens). I'd say that the metal thing is a military barrier that Steve and Jonathan managed to hack. (The writers confirmed that it is not a bomb if anyone thought about that)

I think it’s gonna be something where Jonathan and Steve realize through their rivalry that they both aren’t fit for Nancy at all and they both give up on her and she giving up on choosing them ending the triangle all together.

Ahhhhh I am so excited! I am on yet another re-watch now, cannot get enough. I like the idea of the love triangle breaking and they all go their separate ways. Would love Steve to move on. But my goodness, your theory that Nancey pulls the ultimate sacrifice for Steve and Johnathan gave me chills! I’m a big Steve fan. I like Nancy’s attitude and how she’s always the determined one to face the danger and kick its a$$. Jonathon is an ok character. I don’t necessarily want Stancy to be rekindled but I know Steve is still carrying a torch for Nancy. I just want the episodes to start again!!!!!

I saw something where someone said that the worst way they could end the show is to put in a plot twist that shows the main friend group playing d&d. if that happened I would be MAD.
I honestly doubt that Stranger Things would end with the characters playing D&D, but the Duffer Brothers already had certain ideas on how the series will end

I've watched stranger things 27 times
Steve was orginally set to be killed off in S1, & so if he is the one who lands up with Nancy, the Duffer brothers would have changed their plot.
While it seemed as if they were pushing Nancy towards Steve in S4, i still think that they won't do Jonathan so dirty surely? A Steve Nancy reunion would also make Nancy seem a bit slutty don't you think?

Yes, because the plot armor is now basically gone in Season 5, because they’ve been having plot armor in the previous seasons, so now it’s time to start killing off some of the main characters in Season 5, since it’s the final season of the show
I think Jonathan's going to die in season 5. I think this is going to happen in order to impact three characters...
- Will: Jonathan was the first person to find out about Will's sexuality and accept it. He told Will that he'll always be there whenever he needs someone to talk to. And so Vecna has Jonathan killed off to torture Will. Vecna is going to do whatever he can to break Will's sanity in season 5 in which he will try to get Will to join him and possibly take control of him similar to what was happening in season 2.
- Joyce: She had been trying in the first two seasons to save Will from the threats of the Upside Down. And now, Joyce actually loves one of her sons because Vecna.
- Nancy: She'll find out how Jonathan is planning to go to the same college as Argyle instead of the one she's going to. She'll get mad on how he kept this from her and he should have been honest. They'll try to work things out of course. But when Jonathan dies, she'll think about how stupid their argument was and should have just accepted it. She'll even look back at the scar on her hand when they both cut themselves to attract the Demogorgon. Steve will try to comfort her. But also, this will make it official that he is who Nancy ends up with. With that, in an epilogue, we'll see Steve achieve his dream in marrying Nancy and have a bunch of kids with her in which they drive across country in an RV like to Yellowstone. They might name one of their sons after Jonathan.

Dear Mr. Film Stocked, me and you are probaly the biggest Stranger Things fans there are. Im obsessed with it, and i cant beleive i have to wait 2 more years for the final season! what do you think is gonna happen on Stranger Things day next month?

I think Nancy needs to be single because I don’t think Jonathan or Steve are good enough for her. But if I had to pick one, I would say Jonathan. It’s cool that the Stranger Things writers are releasing these pre-vis gifs. But also, you kept saying in this video that the pre-vis gif with Steve and Jonathan takes place in episode one because Steve is wearing the same shirt as the other pre-vis gif. But you don’t know that for sure. There’s been multiple episodes that have taken place on the same day before. So don’t just assume that both of the pre-vis gifs are from the same episode because it’s possible that they’re from different episodes. Just saying 👍
We have had 2 other love triangles in the series. In all of them, at least one has died to break the triangle
I feel like the odds of Jonathan and Steve becoming best friends are low. Jonathan is reserved and Steve is like I'm good at stuff guys, let me do it. Like finding skull rock after Dustin tried to find it and choosing himself to dive in. I feel like Jonathan might be trying to fix it as a team and Steve will be like dude I got this and maybe mild fighting between them. I just hope the writers are picking who goes out of the 3 of them in a thoughtful way and not just picking by the lest thought of chose. Really not sure what will happen with those 3. My guess now is they are picking Nancy or Steve to go because they were giving a lot to do last season. To be honest though I'm more curious about how Dustin is emotionally. Will he wear his hellfire shirt all the time? Has he pushed Suzie and maybe even Steve away because of the pain he's feeling? Will he be trying to look out for Wayne for Eddie if he's still in town in season 5? It's hinted he will change some but how and how much? Will he be less interested in saving the people of Hawkins because they despise his lost friend?
