I have decided to take my test all separately because of testing anxiety. I have taken math and science so far and have passed them because of your book so thank you thank you thank you so much!!! I take my history portion tomorrow!!! Little nervous but ready!!
Thank you so much for your support and kind words! Be sure to read the entire book. Best of luck with your exam preparation. You've got this! ~Yiana Team Member at Kathleen Jasper LLC
I bought your prep the night before the ESL exam and found it so much more helpful than what I was studying the months leading up to it. A couple of my study materials completely contradicted each other. I ended up scoring a 198/200 thanks to your prep. I am now taking the Gen Ed exam in a month and look forward to using this study guide. I already completed my student-teaching and licensing requirement so hopefully it won't be too much to cram. It is so nice to have one reliable study guide that is based solely off what PRAXIS says will be on the test. I feel like I learned a lot of information that wasn't needed from some of the other sources.
That is amazing. Well done on passing your exam! I try to write my guides so they are completely aligned with the test specs and blueprint. I am so thrilled you found them helpful. Thanks for letting me know :)
Praxis is all about $$$……it’s a joke. Massive teacher shortage and we allow a for profit company to administer the test. This will never change until ETS is gone. All this for 40k lol.
Im so glad I am not alone in thinking this. Four years of my time and money just for it all to hinge on a costly, bs test. Hearing how few pass the first time terrifies me that Im going to be dropping a gross amount of money just trying to pass this stupid thing.
You hit the nail on the head. We are already a low paying professional and now we have to pay to take all these exams to have a license In our career?!
I agree there is a large shortage of teachers' why do we still have to take the praxis. And some of the things we don't use in the classroom. It's a money thing.
I finally passed my PRAXIS exam after all the stress.I thank God for the great opportunity and my tutor Thomas 🎊🎊🎉🎉 All my prayers to God those struggling to pass through PRAXIS cause it hasn't been easy.I hope y'all make it some day too Amen🙏
I prep for the Praxis exams. The PPR is a Pearson exam. However, the Praxis PLT and the TExES PPR are very similar. I have a whole webinar with resources for the PLT. It will help you. Here's the link to get that: kathleenjasper.com/pages/praxis-plt-webinar
I just took 5205 teaching reading and passed. I need to take 5001 now, I want to break it up and maybe do 5002 and 5004 together first. What do u think?
Hi there. For 5001, breaking it up is definitely a smart strategy. Since 5002 (Reading) and 5004 (Social Studies) are typically less math-heavy, they pair well together. Plus, your recent work on 5205 will give you a great foundation for 5002, so it makes sense to tackle it sooner rather than later while it's still fresh. I’d recommend taking 5003 (Math) on its own since it can be more challenging for many test-takers. And then you can finish with 5005 (Science). You’ve got this! 💪 ~Kathy Customer Support at Kathleen Jasper LLC
If I have to take the Praxis 7811 could I use this book to help me study as well? Besides your videos and the ets materials I'm having a very hard time finding any other study materials for those tests!
This is a different exam than the 7811. However, I have a whole playlist for the 7811. Have you seen it? Here is the link: ruclips.net/p/PLBtoj0Jl2SNzjPTRNchbXo5gLM72WLDAr
would this book help prepare me for the 391 as well? I have your pink book already but I've been seeing many good things about this one and wanted to ask if it would help me to prepare for the 391 as well.
Hi! As a non native English speaker, which one do you think should be easier for me (5001 or 7811). I’m worried that having studied in Spanish all my life will impact my scores. Thanks!
That’s a tough question. The 5001 math, social studies, and science is straight content knowledge, while the 7811 math, social stay does, and science include a lot of teaching scenarios. I would look at the specs for both, compare the tests, and then decide. Thanks for watching!

what test do you need to pass to be a teacher? is there more than 1? for example if I didn't want to teach math, how many tests would I have to be pass regarding math?
It all depends on what state you’re trying to get certified in. But yes, it’s more than one test. Go to your state’s department of education under certification to find out the requirements. Thanks for watching!
I used your study guide for the PLT and got a 190! Super grateful and relieved
