    Hey there ,
    Here is my Honest feedback:
    I must appreciate the great content on your channel, it's different and interesting to watch and learn , videos and also clean and crisp. However it would be great if you invest on Good B Role background music instead of the Current music, I assure you it will make your videos more impactful !

      Thank you! Music has always been my biggest struggle. In my head I image some studio ghibli-esk music but never find it. And copyright strikes hit you SO fast for using music. Even if you think it’s in the public domain. And licensing is a pain too, because the license is valid only as long as you continue to keep paying for it monthly. I agree with you and it’s definitely the area I feel the videos are the weakest. I’m just going to have to spend a few days and try and work something better out. I need to befriend a pianist lol.

      I'm particularly curious why this needs the phosphoric acid at the end it is notoriously bad for your teeth which are calcium and we use acid in the pool industry to remove calcium build up it literally eats it away, but in your quantum recipe you don't use any acid at all is it merely for flavor? I want like to make some of these recipes as they look tasty. :)

      In currently looking online for some of the items you use but when I type cherry bark extract online I get some questionable looking results I was looking online at cooks extract doing site and wonder what you think about that too.... I love your channel

      @@TheOneNeoLok I think for the wild cherry bark extract I used Hawaiian pharm or something like that. I understand what you mean by saying some look questionable and nothing is perfect. Wild cherry bark should be being sold as a something consumable because it’s used for treating gout and joint pains. Essential oils are where it gets tricky but the cherry recipe doesn’t have any of those in it.
      The cooks stuff looks like cherry juice syrup similar to the syrup I make in the video. It’s different from the wild cherry bark extract I use but I bet it still tastes good.

      @@TheOneNeoLok so in the quantum one I added citric acid directly to the syrup. Acid is important to sodas because it gives them a tongue tingle and helps you taste the flavors better. When there is too much sugar it overwhelms the tongue and prevents you from being able to taste the flavors clearly. Acid helps cut through that. If you take Two sodas side by side , same syrup and amount and every thing but add acid to one and not the other they will tastes very different. The one with acid will have much more flavor and “sparkle” while the one without acid will taste kind of flat and just sweet. Different acids provide different flavors and sensations. Citric is hits fast and hard and taste lemony, phosphate is dry, lightly grapefruit-ish, and hits hard but mellows fast too. Mallic is mellow and slowly comes on and slowly fades and is completely flavorless. Tartaric is astringent but clean and hits instantly and goes away instantly. You can either add them directly to the syrup or like I did in this one, at the time you make the drink. The two benefits of adding them when you make the drink is you pick which acid you want and syrups last a little longer that are not acidic.
      You’re right too about acid phosphate/phosphoric acid. acid phosphate is the mostly neutralized form of phosphoric acid. It’s made by adding magnesium, calcium, and something else to phosphoric acid till it gets down to around 5%. It’s so low I wouldn’t worry about it too much, but over along enough period of time it in contact with your teeth is not good. I remember in school a teacher put a tooth in a cup of coke for a week and at the end of the week the tooth was all eaten up. I remember thinking, “ yeah but I don’t drink coke by holding it in my mouth for a week.” But she still had a good point about it breaking down calcium. It tastes good but just add citric acid directly to the syrup like I did in the quantum video.
      Sorry for responding so late. my channel has been getting quite a few views lately (at least for me) and it’s hard to find the good real questions in all the crazy drive by stuff people say online. lol

    Which cherry soda does this recipe taste the most like?

    • @VintageAmericanCocktails
      @VintageAmericanCocktails  6 месяцев назад

      I can’t think of a specific brand but I would compare it to a black cherry soda. It’s a nice in between of black cherry and cherry jolly rancher while still tasting natural. The cherry bark gives it a woody depth and the bitter almond gives it that jolly rancher taste. Wonderful question.
