Finally, happy, positive, good news.
Larry nassar got stabbed a bunch of times last week too! Great news is abundant.
So true
You celebrate the suffering of others. You make me sick.
Agreed. All the lunacy going on. Finally something that makes sense happens lol
Irony anybody?
Rhinos paid the lions a security fee 😂
best comment😂
As someone who has worked in anti-poaching, they usually walk with big bolt-action hunting rifles or in some rare case's home made guns not AR15's lol...
Yeah, a lot of people don't realize that AR-15s aren't actually a powerful gun (compared to other guns).
Their caliber is used for coyote hunting and is considered a bit unethical to use on a deer because it's just too small.
I was wondering why he kept saying ar-15…. Those aren’t even good for deer.
Yeah lmao an AR-15 isn’t good for any animals over like 100lbs
I was surprised he said ar15 . That would be about equivalent to a bee sting on a human.
Your going to have a hell of a time dropping a rhino with an AR-15…… despite what the news and media portray it’s a pretty weak round about the largest game you could take effectively is white tail and that’s still pushing it.
I’m guessing the poachers were armed with something heavier than an AR-15. That little .223 caliber wouldn’t even slow a lion down, much less a rhino.
That said, let’s start telling poachers to use AR-15s!
And go team lion😂
I hate how people think AR-15s are the most powerful rifle ever made thanks to the garbage media
A .223 would definitely slow a lion down. A broken leg is a broken leg regardless of how it’s been broken. A head shot to a rhino is a headshot. .223/.556 green tips will go through several brake rotors and calibers. Speed is key not mass. The more speed, the more kinetic energy is produced. A good exaggerated example of this is dropping a grain of sand at the speed of light on simulation programs towards Earth.
@@johnnyringo2690you need a combination of speed and mass which is essentially momentum. Hunting a big game animal with an AR15 is very inhumane, even if you think you’re going to hit headshots
@@obeytheshark didn’t say it wasn’t inhumane. I said a green tip.233/.556 would easily go through a rhino especially in the head at 50
Yards. Green tips go through steel. Animals are fleshy. Momentum is not “essentially” speed plus mass. Momentum:strength or force gained by motion or by a series of events.
@@johnnyringo2690 you should brush up on your physics because momentum is mass times velocity and force is the change in momentum over change in time. Therefor to increase stopping power, you need to increase both speed and mass of your bullet.
I dont think an AR15 would be ideal or even sufficient. There is a reason a .375 caliber is about the minimum for both lions and Rhinos in most countries.
An AR-15 to take down a Rhino?? Cmon man 😂
I'm from South Africa and when we first heard about this story we were all very happy 😂😂
If you shoot a rhino with an ar15 you clearly want to die lol
Absolutely. Gonna need more than a .22
I get that a 77grn with a perfect brain shot might get it, but a body shot would be like a bee sting to a rino.
You can't hunt anything bigger than a coyote with an AR15, people do not realize how small a .223 bullet is compared to hunting bullets...or that the AR doesn't stand for assault rifle
You can hunt things bigger than a coyote, it’s just incredibly unethical and should never be done
So few here know much about .223. It will kill a rhino or elephant with the right bullet and shot placement. Might take a while if shot is off. And in the right hands it is a great deer gun. Poachers kill elephant with .22 lr fill the lungs with little holes it will die in a day or so, they just follow them till they die.
A .22 LR can also penetrate body armor if you got the exact same spot a bunch of times. I would highly doubt the poachers are using AR15s. Especially in lion country. Maybe an AR 10 but an AR 15 would be ridiculous.
@@shepdogg23even to a point an AR10 is questionable, depending on what type of rounds you're using. However I do agree trying to vilifying the AR15 the way they are is just sad. Why Forrest didn't correct them I don't know. He knows there was definitely no AR15 in sight most likely not even in the same country this happened in.
Cringe Brandon
Lol😂! Ar15 VS rhino. I'd love to see that epic fail.
The ar platform can go from .22 to 50 cal Beowulf so its reasonable to i get wym
What’s the obsession with AR15’s? 😂
He must believe the propaganda about them being all powerful.
I wouldn't assume they had AR15s. A lot of poachers don't have access to decent weapons. Local police confiscate lots of tube guns with powder made from safety fuse that they nick from the mines.
Not to mention no one would hunt rhinos with an ar 15
@@trickwisp3689I was about to say the same thing
We had a case where a local police officer supplied hunting rifles to poachers taken from the police stations safe...🙃
They were probably poor locals then. Never go into the wild without binoculars, a sniper rifle, a shotgun, an RPG launcher, a pair of Uzis, a Glock strapped to an ankle holster, backpack full of grenades, a flame thrower, a dagger, a spear, a shield, mosquito repellant spray, and a complete full body armor suit. I know that's a lot to carry but these animals must learn the difference between apex predators and the ultimate apex predator. They try to come at me with their growls and reptilian eyes, I'll pull my Uzis up and rat tat tat tat tat tat, rat tat tat tat tat. That's right, they better run. If they come back with their homies, I'll take it up a notch too. Down with the Uzis', up with the RPG launcher. They wouldn't want any of this smoke. I can take out a whole generation with that thing.
@@trickwisp3689 well the most used weapon used to poach elephant is the ak47, they just put a lot of bullets in them. Wich is an horrible way to die.
“Ar-15’s nearby” cracked me up. Yes, let’s take down a rhino with a .22 caliber round haha
I didn’t know they had AR-15’s but I can tell you how the lions got past it. The AR15 fires a 5.56x45mm round, which is a .22 caliber round invented for rodents and varmint. It does not have the capability to bring down a lion without well placed shots. That’s why they use large caliber rifle rounds instead for hunting, and also why it’s illegal to hunt big game with an AR15 for fear of causing suffering because it didn’t just die.
I like how they smile when Forrest tells about how the lions murdered three people🤣
I'd love to stand over them while they're in the middle of the most pain of their lives screaming "That's what you get baby!"
Thanks for reporting on this feel-good story!
A bunch of comments suggesting these poachers are simply trying to feed their families.
Let me make people aware, barely any poachers are poor and trying to just survive off of their kills.
*Most poachers are part of the largest cartels on the planet. They don't want to feed families, they want to get rich*
Do not feel sympathy for them at all.
You are nobodies savior. We don't need you TELLING us something.
@@bocatcc but it's true.. and most people don't seem to know it. What is your problem?
@@marcopaulo_ what is your PROBLEM? Nobody cares what you have to say. You are not important. Your opinion doesn't matter.
@@bocatcc bro tryna white knight poachers wtf 😂 you need to get out more bud
@@bdiax You are illiterate
Such wonderful news 😊😊😊 some feed lions and saved rhinos. So glad to hear about this.
What a lovely story to start the day with! Cheers!!!
good news, just hope the lions did not have any digestion problem after that.
One satisfying belch.
I wouldn’t worry, it’s probably just like eating warthog to them
@@MrThatnativeguy Far Side cartoons have entered chat
They love bones and marrow. Humans were probably a special treat.
Probably gave them the shits 😂😂😂
As an aussie, thanks Forrest! Australia is pretty harmless
lies, not as harmful as africa, is what you shouldve said
Yeah preety safe with one of the most venomous snake and huge spiders and many more 😂😂
Yeah saltwater Crocs are super harmless
@@AnkitKumar-lq1oh venomous snakes and large spiders are everywhere in the world relax
@@danielnaberhaus5337 Never seen one in the wild, ever. Nor have i ever seen any venomous snakes up close, nor any spiders (all pretty similar if not less aggressive and more out rural then USA).
No bears, no wolves, no pumas, mountain lions, alligators, massive pythons, i could go on endlessly, We dont have anything like that in Australia.
Ive been all around australia and done the camping rural, island etc, the most ive ever come across was a grey nurse shark while i was bodyboarding on north stradbroke island and that was an awesome experience! (barring the existential moment of realising i dont feel alot of fear)
They knew what they were getting into when they bought their tickets, I say let them crash
Shooting rhinos with AR-15’s 😂😂😂
I saw s video of the rhino who got tranquilized, and the damage after the horn sawed off, it woke up crying the tears and blood. The worst thing was it was a mother and its calf was callings panicking near by....the worst thing the mother eventually died... The calve was rescued though.
This Lion story makes so happy. Its a redemption story as i just saw the video a week ago
Lions: CALL AN AMBULANCE
Lion Pride: BUT NOT FOR US.
Best news I’ve heard all day, nature is taking back control ❤
hello drew
Came here for the good news. Let's go.
That's awesome nature protecting her own.😂
You realize the poachers are part of nature.
Humans aren’t aliens invading the biosphere. We evolved here too.
The pride wasn’t defending nature, they were killing and eating it.
An ar15 firing a 223 or 5.56 is not big enough to take down a rihno. They probably had ak's or F.A.L's
Even that is pretty small for a rhino. That’s not a one shot kill with no suffering for the animal
Same thing I would thought g3 or fal
As you can see here on the "Fuck Around and Find Out" graph.... lol
Gotta love it when nature poaches
back.
Dexter could be in the middle of a kill and get a call telling him to get across town immediately and somehow he makes it and never leaves a trace...lol
Best news so far this yr thanks guys
Shout out to your biggest fan 😅 love your podcasts
Hey,Thank You...i made it :-b
GG
@@wtfsalommy3250 to the shire it is my fellow salommy
Pat, you cannot kill a rhino with an AR15. It wouldn’t even make them bleed, let alone kill them. 5.56mm/.223 caliber is an absolutely pathetic round.
he's from california you can't expect him to know anything about firearms
@@springheelzach812 I’m originally from California too! Lmao I escaped for the freeish state of Florida tho.
This guy said AR-15 🤣
Stories like this and videos when rodeo bulls win are some of the best things I can hear about
There’s a subreddit I remember (it might still exist) was called r/thebullwins and it was great.
I wonder if the lions thought...
hmmm tastes like chicken...
We probably taste like pork 🐖
AR-15... Vs a rhino???? Pat, you need to go shooting sometime. A .223 will not kill a Rhino, I promise you. There is a reason elephant guns exist.
I heard Rino and AR15 in the same sentence...oooof
There's a vod out there ,where some white guy drops an elephant with a wooden long bow.. Insane
ar15 in africa made me giggle too. US Media influence showing in that. Only rifle he has heard of.
@@wtfsalommy3250 I mean to be fair a long bow is way more deadly and has more penetration than an AR-15.
@@IsaiahYoung-mu1zhi know, but still scary' as a mugg.. I know the older animals need to be harvest'd and all,but a bow blew my mind.
Y’all obviously need to google the mother elephant that recently avenged the poaching of her baby!! She not only killed the woman that killed her baby, she showed up at her funeral and yanked her out of her casket and killed her twice all on video 💪.
Outstanding
Sauce?
Link?
Wouldn’t this news be even better if we were to find out the rhino worked out a deal with the pride of lions?
This has happened before and all I have to say is KARMA is a good friend
Is that Patrick’s Minnie Mouse stuffed animal in the background?😂
Why is everything a automatic AR-15 when in reality IT NEVER IS
Probably aks
Well you definitely don't kill rhinos with an ar-15. 😂
Who uses commas while on Google 😂
Yeah I said the same thing 😂
Best news I've heard all day.
lovely story
Lmao ar-15? Imagine hunting a rhino with a .223 caliber rifle.....
I just love a happy ending
Best news I've heard in a long time. More please!
Haven't even watched the video yet, but from title itself - cold beer for those lions :)
That's crazy ppl living like it's back in hunter gatherer times 😂
1:22 I would say Africa but I’m not a biologist 🤣🤙🏼
I love love this. The ultimate prey would be poachers.
Haven’t even started the video yet, just read the tittle and I’m already in a good mood
This warms my heart❤
Haha AR -15 lol ok now come on 😂.. thats like a cork gun for a rhino im sure .. haha love the pod tho
I love perfectly timed ads they're great.
"I was just gonna say" watch this advertisement for dawn dishsoap.
A great story!
An AR-15?…. Seriously?? You think you can take a rhino down with an AR-15? 😂 that’s hilarious
Why would someone hunt rhino with a varmint round? The ar15 isn't for big game...
Some good news this week. Woooohooooo
Hunting a rhino with an AR15?😂😂😂 That wouldn't even put a dent in a rhino.
Love Dexter the 4th season is a masterpiece, unfortunate that they fudged the ending twice
Awesome news !!!
A real feel good story!! Thanks guys!!! 😊❤
Nature as it should be.
Woooo- wait again!
AR-15? To poach rhinos? Come on guys, damn🤣
Hate to hear about people getting "needlessly" killed, but these guys deserved it.
@mosaabtwice3999play stupid games, win stupid prizes
Have you guys heard of the lioness on the loose South of Berlin, Germany? They're still looking for it and have no idea where it escaped from.
Turned out it was a wild boar XD
Hehehehehehe,….. I’m hunt’n wabbits ,…… hehehehehehe,…. I’m hunt’n Elmers 😂😂😂
I doubt they used AR's to poach rhinos lol
Fellas, AK 47's snd Mosin Nagants
This is by far the greatest news story since the invention of the wheel...3 great things happened here...1, Rhinos saved, 2, Lions fed, and 3 the best part...less poachers..
Seems like natures animals are starting a revolution, bless thier little souls..🎉🐗🦓🐊🐍🐘🦏🐅🦛 🦅🦨...skunks, really you say, yes skunks, i love them...all creatures great and small.
Dammit Forrest, i was gonna say Dexter..you cheated...😅
Good 👍 👍
I love Death in the Long Grass by Peter Capstick…I’ve read it half a dozen times. Wonderful book.
That’s what you call “ sliding “ for the hood ❤
Lions out here drillin’ the opps.
"Yeah. They are pretty easy to manipulate. Little blood in the water and not a single one sees anything other than red. "
“How are they on a get the Rhino out of there” I wish they just played with that
I came for the story but stayed for the comments under
Like B real said what goes around come around kid.....
I really need to buy a poacher’s 🖐️ Tradition tells me it brings luck ❤️
Natures justice 👍🏼
Question, what if you walk backwards? Lion can't sneak up on you than, right? Lol
Nooooo, they would flank you or circle to a area behind you and wait till you walked backwards into a pride of lions😂
The fact he keeps saying AR-15 shows how little he knows about different rifles, stop watching the MSM
excellent news everybody!
It's a 99% sure thing they did not have automatic weapons and they also most likely didn't have an AR-15, maybe an AR-10 variant but most likely they were using a large caliber bolt action rifle. And they were going to sell the horn to the chinese
Good kitties! 😊
Hooray for the lions
Love the story. But we can tell who the anti gun propagandist is if he erroneously believes an AR could take down either a rhino or a lion. Big game rifles make the AR look like a cap gun.
😂 right? I guess every gun is an AR-15 at this point
Ar 15 is made in some hefty rounds too, not just the 556
He was the same guy in a recent vid that rubbed his gooch deeply then slyly sniffed his fingers
Pretty sure it's gonna be of the kalashnikov variety in rhino poaching territory. Even the armed park rangers carry ak there at least the ones I have seen..at home...on my tv, so I may be wrong
Best news yes😁❤️
Lol “they had ar-15s” hunting rhinos 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
As an avid gun guy unless you get a perfect brain shot you are not mowing down a lion with an AR in close quarters at night before you get dead. Most rhino and elephant poachers are using AKs or much more rudimentary rifles.
Good deal
