      He was going to find a parking spot and decided to block traffic instead

      They are used to drop water near the fire so it can cool it down and allow the hotshot crews and other crews do their operations easier. Hueys are also sometimes used to transport hotshot crews.

    CaLFire really wastes equipment and time. They never have the right equipment for Rural Wildfire support. Resident trucks can & aren't effective in Wildfires. A truck like the Bull Dawg is an effective machine. Sprinkler system on the sides, 2,000 gallon tank, Remote adjustable Front turret, 2 side hose reels, foam capable, 35,000 winch & high clearance & 4 wheel drive..
