There’s always tradeoffs, isn’t there? We’re seeing so much on this cruise, but there’s still so, so much more out there. With limited time, it’s impossible to experience everything. We’re making the most of it, though! Thanks for being such an awesome supporter-means a lot coming from our favorite Aussie!
The real charm of Morocco is found in its interior. We loved our slow 14-day land tour in the past, especially Fez. Be sure to check out our Fez video-we’re already planning a return trip. Thanks for watching
Note to self…if I ever go to Morocco bring at least two extra suitcases for all the souvenirs!! Wow!! 🤩. Such beautiful rugs, lamps, and jewelry!! Thanks for sharing 😊
Yes! I was mentally shopping there - I could spend days in there looking at rugs, the brass candle holders - I bet they cast beautiful shadows / light.
Ha! Yes, definitely bring those extra suitcases-Morocco is a shopper’s paradise! It’s all so tempting. We’re glad you enjoyed seeing it some of it, and thanks for coming along on the journey with us! 😊
Haven't been to Morocco but it looks interesting and will check on the link of your 2 weeks land based tour of Morocco. Thanks for another insightful video ❤
Morocco is definitely a place full of surprises! We’re glad you found the video insightful. Be sure to check out our Fez video-it was one of our favorite spots, and we loved it so much that we’re planning a 5-day stay in a small hotel inside the Medina on our next visit. Thanks for watching and for your support!
We’re so happy to hear that our videos have inspired your travel plans! That’s exactly why we love sharing our adventures. Thanks for watching! Safe and happy travels
Thanks so much for your interest in our personal stories! We’d love to share more about our careers, family life, and everything in between. But as you can imagine, cruising for 9 months with a new port almost every day leaves us with little time to rest or dive deep into storytelling. We’re focused on making quality videos and weaving our stories into the port visits, which is tough with such limited time. The cruise wraps up in 3 weeks (though we’re still 20 videos behind!), and after that, we’ll be traveling at a slower pace. That’s when we’ll have more time to leisurely explore and share those personal stories you’re eager to hear. Stay tuned-it’s coming!
You look great in your long-sleeved shirt, purse and pants. In the New Medina, you passed by some "flowy" caftans, which did not have sleeves to wrists. Would they, however, be appropriate to wear in the hot weather outdoors in Morocco, or are those deemed only for either house wearing or evening wear? Are those sleeves considered to be conservative enough?
In the Medina it is probably better to aim on the long sleeves but you will see in Agadir I am wearing a dress with shoulders and knees covered which is fine too. I like to blend in with the locals a bit more so I don’t draw too much attention.
We appreciate the idea, but we’re not planning to write a book-retirement is all about enjoying life to the fullest! Making these videos is our hobby, and we love sharing our experiences with anyone who finds them interesting. We’re not experts; sometimes we don’t know much about a place before visiting, and we even get lost occasionally! There are plenty of great books out there for detailed guides, but for us, it’s all about the joy of discovery and sharing it as long as it’s fun. The best part of retirement is that we get to play like kids-no work, just adventure!
I absolutely love that analogy of getting a 360⁰ view through a paper straw. Such wise words

Wanting to hear more of your personal life stories; careers, family life etc..

@@bztravel thanks for update!! I've enjoyed seeing your travels around the globe! Hard to believe it's almost over!!

I would hope you will co-write a book as a travel guide to the places you visit on this journey. Just hit the high points of each with maps.
