The 68th Eurovision Song Contest will be hosted by a Hollywood star and an iconic Eurovision-veteran. Malin Åkerman and Petra Mede will together lead the three broadcasts. Petra Mede is one of Sweden's most beloved television hosts and comedians, having hosted Melodifestivalen, the QX-gala and Guldbaggegalan and, of course, her own Petra Mede Show, on TV3.
Petra hosted the Eurovision Song Contest in 2013 and was praised internationally for her performance, and in 2016 she made her return as host alongside Måns Zelmerlöw. Together, they performed the hilarious and memorable interval act Love, Love, Peace, Peace.
Alesia Michelle is a Eurovision blogger, based in the United States and has been covering the Eurovision Song Contest on RUclips since 2015. Check out her reaction now!
The 68th Eurovision Song Contest will be hosted in Malmö, Sweden. Semifinals and finals will be held May 7th, 9th and 11th in Malmö Arena.

@@tjarkhillu9706 yes it was well received by open minded eurofans but when they get on that Eurovision stage and showcase this song to millions of people around Europe, many of which aren’t very open to “out there” music… the song might not be received as well. For example Fulenn, Eaea, Telemoveis, Samo mi se spava etc. Do I think this will flop like they did? No. But I don’t think it will have enough support from he public to win🫶 But I might be wrong who knows
@@tjarkhillu9706 So are other entries too though so it's not a given he will win. Nemo is a great vocalist but the staging, the live execution will make or break the song at the end because many people around the world are tired in the meantime of the "I'm diverse look at me" that goes on heavily in social media and everywhere since the whole 2023.

Alesia - this is such a full circle moment. I have watched you, an open-minded and educated AMERICAN Eurovision fan for years. As a Maltese, I feel humbled how you embrace Eurovision better than most Europeans. Watching your mum react shows where you get the character to do all of this from. No judgements, no unnecessary comparisons and no lecturing on what it should or should not be. You’ve immersed yourself into our little song contest. You sat down and started telling us what you think and throughout the years you have become a composed, consistent and reliable Eurovision commentator - to the point that sometimes it baffles me how you’re not even European. Wow. I just wanted to take a moment to thank you for all these wonderful years and hopefully more to come. For many of us you’re not our favourite American reactor - but our favourite reactor. ❤️

It's so lovely to see other members of your family react to the songs. I usually watch ESC alone, but I plan to watch Eurovision this year with my older sister for a first time who is 29 years old and who never watches Eurovision and who probably won't hear any song before the show. It's gonna be funny. 😁

I am pretty sure, Switzerland will finish very high, most probably top 5 but it will not win.
