@@L.ovelybuilds same i went there first before this video was made and i spent 9 dollars well waisted and i couldn't figure anything out, so when this video was made she had the download link there and was ready for use i tired it and it wouldn't work for me so i deleted now that i fixed my game and came back to get the code the easy way now i can't and have to unfortunately waste 9 dollars trying to find the code that i never found🤕

Open gshade control panel, go to installations, click the 'custom shaders and textures' button at the bottom and what you need should be there! Hope this helps anyone who also struggled with this lol
0:33 if u use the anadius dlc unlocker, make sure to select the TS4.exe in the cracked game folder instead of the original !! otherwise, gshade won't start on ur cracked game

Quick question. I got it to work and have been using it but Does relight work in CAS? The active blobs didn’t show up for me when I had the shader on. Works in game fine tho
@@venita-xo that’s true. It didn’t show up, I’ll try again , maybe I need to do edge smoothing or something. It could be the blobs being too small. I think I tried that first before going in game, thank you! ☺️
I have Gshade installed and also various mods but whenever Gshade is installed and I want to open sims the game loads long and then it crashes and when the game loads it crashes as soon as I want to select a shader in the Gshade menu. Do you have any idea why this could be, because I don't have any problems with mods, I have Windows:) Thanks for any reply xx
Ever since I switched computers this has been happening to me too and I haven't been able to figure out why. I also have windows but the frustrating thing is, is that it worked completely fine on my other computer.
I didn't think of why my game is loading so long I forgot about the 100's of gshades I have I didn't think about GShade at all being the problem I thought it was my mods!

I’m not sure what that means, is gshade even installed you can tell when you open your game a small panels shows up with gshade and the version number it’ll also tell you how to open the panel if that doesn’t pop up then gshade might not be installed correctly

When I tried to install gshade and then start the game, the computer told me that the game could not be started because of problems with the video card (the computer has never written this to me before), so I better delete this entire process with gshade and however, my computer keeps telling me that the game cannot be started because of problems with the video card, does anyone know what I should do?
Hi!! I found the issue, for some reason our pc's installed the 'shaders and textures' thing into a different section of our computers. Open gshade control panel, go to installations, click the 'custom shaders and textures' button at the bottom and this should take you to the correct folder. Hope this helps!
So when I go to my gshade add ons folder, I don't have the shaders and textures folder...I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling gshade just in case I accidentally deleted it ot something but nothing has worked so far. I'm not sure if you know how to fix it or not, but I thought it was worth asking for help 😅
@@Sahkurei I just realized that it only happens if my game is windowed. Problem was fixed after playing my game in fullscreen mode.. It must be a bug ): Hope this helps though!

@@venita-xoHello, what helped me was that I specified in the graphics settings - screen type - windowed full screen. All screenshots are now saved I'm writing in case someone had the same problem.
I tried to download gshade and it won’t load the sims because my “video card doesn’t run it” but when I delete gshade it loads fine with reshade.. and my pc has good specs so idk
@@venita-xo is the version of relight that you’re using and older one? I think the problem for me might be that or I’m just installing it wrong. I noticed that the files I’m installing look different from the ones in the video.

No, the whole situation was def blown out of proportion, but I don’t blame anyone not wanting to use gshade. The creator only did the “malware” if you download gshade from a 3rd party and not the official source to basically “teach a lesson”.

I’m not sorry I change my presets all the time so if you want to know what preset I’m using it’s always in the description box

So the relight shows up in my game but when I click it nothing changes 😭 Edit: I fixed it. I had to turn off edge smoothing :)

Try messing with the comic setting and seeing if you can fix it :)

I accidentally did redownload gshade, so maybe try that all of my custom presets weren’t removed so don’t worry about that

Is your graphic card updated? If not try googling it that usually helps me.
this has happened to me don’t download the default shade you have to press the other versions of gshade

Did you still try to put the relight shaders in the add on? I’m not sure what’s causing that exact issue.
@Darlingdearyy yeah, I tried briefly to just put it in the add ons folder anyway, but doing that would just make my game crash while loading up 🥲

I use srwe and it works just fine 😭🙈 double check your relight setting in case you hotkeyed it to something when it’s adjusting the screen
