Don’t get me wrong, I really liked the anime a lot. But I wish they gave Giorno way more expression like the Manga
Same with Luca, at first like when he invites Giorno to sit down with him he has such an innocent, calm expression, whereas in the anime he's got frowny eyes and smirk that give away immediately he's up to no good.
Same in Part 4 when Tomoko kicks Josuke while he plays a videogame, in the manga she looks much more playful like a sister figure trolling her brother, while in the anime she's very stern and mean while making her son lose.
I get and appreciate that David Productions wants to be faithful to the manga's presentation and recreate the panels, but sometimes I feel like their attention to detail is misplaced?
It reminds me a bit of how Zack Snyder adapted 300 and Watchmen, he meticulously goes for nearly shot-for-shot, but often he focuses on the wrong aspects leaving out some nice subtleties of the original. I'm not a hater, I enjoy those films, but I'm just being honest and giving constructive criticism.

People always say stuff like “what happened to life shot” but honestly Gold Experience reflecting attacks back into people was pretty cool but I respect the decision to go in a different direction because it would kind of make fights boring since it would be the obvious best tactic. This is also why I like how life shot got shelved as well because it’s, again, the obvious best option. Imagine if instead of Giorno turning the bullet that pierced his hand into a tree and all that cool shit we saw during the Green Day fight Giorno was just like “aye lmao turned some of your stuff into a dog and oops you hit it now you are dead and/or pretty hurt so Imma use life shot and oh wow now you can’t move while I tear out your throat” every fight would have ended the same way and it would have gotten old fast. Gold Experience’s old abilities were like Hamon, if we saw anymore of it we would have probably hated it.

I think he still uses the life thing, is just that we don't see it, like the muda rush to Cioccolata probably felt like an eternity for him (well, he deserved it)
Something that I've noticed in nearly every fight Giorno has going forward (besides Bucciarati) is that most enemies will either have a safeguard against direct physical attacks (like Ghiaccio's suit conjured by White Album's ice, and Notorious B.I.G.'s death mass just not being affected) or they will do EVERYTHING in their power to avoid the effect (like how Baby Face would deconstruct itself, or Cioccolata cut off a good chunk of his abdomen where Giorno had struck him), plus when fighting Bucciarati, he got around Golden Experience's attack by replacing his arm with the child's arm.
Though, whenever GE was able to actually strike an enemy directly, it would result in the enemy getting barraged, and pretty much dying as a result. I think the only enemy that took a direct attack from Giorno's stand (outside of Bucciarati) was Diavolo, and we all know that just straight up killing him was never the intention.
He looks more like a nice guy in the means
