Thank you for dealing with the fringe, your a better man than me. If someone ask for a bag with fringe I'd laugh. But as you say we are not the end user and the customer gets what they want. When I go to my shop and work for hours, my dog would be mad at me the rest of the day. She would sit with me still, but she still be mad. It was funny.
Thanks for showing doing a dry run with how the bag is going to turn. No matter how much you try to picture how the turned bag is going to go right side out, it's easy to have something backwards. Safer to just do a quick dry test like that.
Thank you so much for a great video! Straight and to the point, excellent job! And I must say...I'm very impressed with all of your tools in your shop!
Hey Aaron great video of the leather Fringe on the bag looks great Aaron on another note I'd like to say Aaron is flopping around and now he's delicate reminds me of another video do you remember Aaron lol have a great weekend Aaron and Jeannie Sue peace out Aaron!🇺🇸
Question : Just got this pattern looking forward to making this bag . I am wanting to stamp a different pattern (basket stamp ) on the handle part. I have not cut out the long hole part yet. So do all the stamping first and then cut out the long hole after its done being tooled?
I had a similar issue with my class 26 recently. It grunted and wouldn't proceed. I started over after removing all the thead and it worked fine. It has done that twice now. I'll see you in Waco this weekend and you can tell me what went wrong if you have figured it out.
Hello! Can you hand stitch a purse like this? Also I like the idea of buck stitching the tooled piece to the dark bag leather.. how would you go about doing that? I'm new to leather work lol! Any tips would be great :)
May I ask a few questions. I'm new to a lot of this .was wanting to know we're would be a good place to get the templates. Also what kind of Barnacher that was.
Is the leather you used for the back and fringe the dark brown Herman oak 1881? Or is this same leather available in your store? I would love to make this bag and love that colour!
Is there any possible way I could talk you into making me that bag?I have 6 kids on one income so the only way I could afford to buy one would be pay a little each week until I have paid you to make me one but if your interested I am madly in love with this purse!well American flag anything but I really would like a nice purse.
I tape my fringe together with painters tape to avoid sewing a fringe end and also helps when turning bag inside out.

So do all the stamping first and then cut out the long hole after its done being tooled?
It will be more rigid and easier to stamp if you do it that way, but it is not necessary.
Is this bag a 10X10? Or 12X12 ? He doesn't say.

Love the bag. Is there anyway to make the handle out of a vinyl?

On the D-ring loops, are you not afraid of the loops failing due to the “perforated” effect due to the stitch line?
No, the bag is not large enough for the amount of Wright it would take to do that.

@GOT_WOOKIEE our store for supplies is www.makersleathersupply.com
I do not understand barnacher?
What would be the easiest way to make this bag have a closure.
A loxx fastener in the top two pieces or a flap that goes through the handles
Thanks for you help
I need that bag so bad
Isn’t it usually easier to cut cowhide from the back/flesh side? Then you don’t get too much interference with your blade from the hair. Nice pattern
It can work either way. If cutting from the backside you sometimes still need to trim all the hair afterward.
Yaasss!! I’ve been looking for a tutorial for this bag forever!! So excited!!
where did u get the see thru rulers?

Where can I get a handle please?
I have the same feelings towards mystery braids, I just don't like them but everyone else seems to love them.
Nothing like hairy coffee in the morning
Hi Aaron, what is that leather you used for the back side of the bag?
He didn't answer???
WHERE DO YOU GET THE HANDLES AT ANYONE?
The handles are cut into the leather
@@makersleathersupply1220 Is there a pattern for handles?
@makersleathersupply1220 I live in small town in Iowa so nothing around
@@makersleathersupply1220 So the template comes with this bag?
Is there a pdf pattern instead of using a template set?
Not one available at this time.
@@makersleathersupply1220 My Brother scanNcut would cut all that fringe so much easier. 😂. Just need a pdf to scan in or a svg file.
Love the work. What type/weight leather did you use for your fringe?
It’s just a random 3/4oz oil tan I had laying around.
@@makersleathersupply1220 thanks!!
