Hey Professor Dave! If you see this, I was one of the students who showed up to your QnA today. I was in the Megadeth shirt on your left side third or fourth row and asked about how much charlatans believe what they sell. I had to leave early for a class, but I wanted to thank you for sharing your time with us and how much you fostered my love of science!
That was beautiful to watch Thank you, Professor And thank you for giving examples of the pharmaceutical products produced that are widely known and used
Hi Prof Dave, loved the video! In addition to everything discussed in the video, I think that this topic also requires some discussion on the Halpern and anti-Halpern type mechanisms. Also, I don't know if you already did a video on this, but Kinetic isotope effect type mechanism studies were also frequently discussed during our homogeneous catalysis course and may be interesting for this playlist as well. Lastly, thank you for all the great content over the years, it really helped me a lot going passing the O'chem courses in my bachelor!
Nicely presented. I have been teaching this topic for twenty years to my MSc students. One humble suggestion is, you should add a little bit on the NHC ligands as well.
Professor, I have a question! Is it possible for us to precisely measure lines of irrational numbers?! In other words, does it's mathematical representation replicate similarly even for reality too?!
Can confirm, I studied Chemistry in greece and we learned the concept of enantioselectivity in undergrad. Although we studied noyori's method in particular in post grad / master (I believe they are the same).

I'm having technical difficulties joining my online chemistry class, and this was just released a minute ago; perfect timing!
Watching to give you a view. I have no idea what I'm watching.
Same 😂! Professor ❤
The opposite, im watching to give him a view as I already know the topic, we studied it in University xD
Same-ish but I know some words like catalytic converter, science and.... Dang
I watched a couple of his flerf videos. I know how you feel. It was painful.
Lord jamar may have a objections here
i love the guy who knows a lot about the science stuff
you didnt finish the video
That was beautiful to watch
Thank you, Professor
And thank you for giving examples of the pharmaceutical products produced that are widely known and used
I get fascinated with the quality of your videos. This is a gold mine for the ones who like studying. Way to go, bro!
PS: I'm watching from Brazil!
Finally we see organic chemistry videos from you again! Back at your specialty!
Organocalysis vs metal catalysis would be a great episode.
This is the best channel. One day it's debunking pseudoscience, another day it's talking about advanced chemistry.
Plus evolution, history and Latin - do Professor Dave's talents never end? (Only *slightly* facetious - and meant in a positive way.)
just studied this in biochem yesterday and getting this video! thank you!

Excellent, well worth the wait

This is so fantastic! Thank you, Professor
Sir I am form India Fan❤❤
Every one needs to watch this
I had to reapply to college to read that title so I understood what it said.
Thank you for this, do you cite the papers that you use anywhere in these videos?
Professor Dave uploads new video: *oooohhhh*
Reads title: never mind...
😁
Nice! How about a video on Olefin Metathesis and the generations of Grubbs Catalysts!
Highly education video for organic chemistry students 😊
When will you do a debunk or a reaction video to sacred geometry? A reaction video will probably be more suitable considering it's not really advanced
When I can't even pronounce the title, I know it's gonna get good.
good video. i wonder how they would seperate out the S from R BINAP. seems difficult, unless there's methodology for chiral separations i'm unaware of
You can utilize an chiral HPLC column to separate enantiomers.
You should talk about Cp ligands and NHC ligands
do you have any good books for starters that i can read upon?
Greetings, Dave! I have questions. How can I contact you?
Professor, I have a question! Is it possible for us to precisely measure lines of irrational numbers?! In other words, does it's mathematical representation replicate similarly even for reality too?!
At what level would one normally learn this sort of stuff?
Like undergrad level
Can confirm, I studied Chemistry in greece and we learned the concept of enantioselectivity in undergrad. Although we studied noyori's method in particular in post grad / master (I believe they are the same).
Probably second or third year chemistry.
James is taking further stabs at the origin of life field again 😪 Are you going to make more videos about his antics or is it pointless now?
1 view in 22 seconds!?!? What the hell professor Dave
That's Professor for you 🔥🤙🏻🤙🏻!
I'll need to go back, and watch the first 903 videos before watching this.
Thanks
Hip hop fans are watching you now. Thats so cool and much meeded in this anti intellectual environment.
Isn't this the stuff that Tour was having a conniption about?
What is this all about
Handedness of chemical compounds.
We're talking about Corn, right?
love ya tnx for vid
I refuse to believe the title contains real words.😊
You missed a few letters in your title.
I hope to one day understand 0.3% of these words :)
Where are the flat earth debunking videos I signed up for ☹️ (irony)
That's where your intellect ended 😂
This stuff is for grown ups 😂
Ok but Earths still flat right?
big words
Ah yes, the flux capacitor
haiiii :3
Well im certainly stupid this barely sounds like english 🎉
This makes as much sense to me as, flat earth.
So.
