  • This week on Creannotators, I interview comic artist and writer Blue Delliquanti about their hit webcomic O Human Star! We discuss the state of webcomics, queer graphic novels, and their new YA graphic novel, Across a Field of Starlight.
On Comic Book Herald’s ‘Creannotators’ I’ll be interviewing some of my favorite creators in comics about specific runs, graphic novels or series, looking for their insights on the inspirations behind the work and ideas or hidden material readers may have missed. Creannotators is an audio annotative guide to enjoying the intricacies and thinking in the art. Thanks for listening, and enjoy the comics!

    About Comic Book Herald:
My name's Dave, and Comic Book Herald is a labor of love designed to help new, lapsed, and curious comic book readers explore and enjoy the wonderful world of comics. I've been developing reading orders, chronology guides, and detailed comics recommendations since late 2011. Comics can be confusing and intimidating; I try to help.

Fun story, I bought O Human Star volume 1 3 times because I kept gifting it to friends. I met Blue at Small Press Expo and helped with her crowdfunding publications. Donated her books to a progressive coffeeshop in my neighborhood that supports LGBT+ kids. Really REALLY happy that you got to interview Blue!

I'm so happy to see this comic popping up here! I read a huge chunk of it back in the day and I loved it. It's recently been in my mind and I've been meaning to go back to it, so this is a really happy coincidence.
