Welcome, dear listener! How did this meditation on the Solar Plexus Chakra make you feel? What insights did it bring to your awareness? How incredible, it seems that every chakra is intrinsically linked to a function of the body in the autonomic system. Correct me if I’m wrong but the “breath of fire” is a diaphragm exercise yes? That makes the sacral associated with the reproductive system, and the root may be the digestive. Heart is obvious, but throat is where it gets tricky. Maybe the higher chakras aren’t as linked to bodily systems, but more associated with brain functions. Communication, focus, and spiritual connection.
Well, there have been many different ways to model the physical correlations to the chakras. For instance, some models align the chakras with glands and hormones: the root chakra with the adrenal glands, the sacral chakra with the reproductive organs, the solar plexus chakra with the pancreas, the heart chakra with the thymus, the throat chakra with the thyroid, the third eye chakra with the pituitary, and the crown chakra with the pineal gland. Bodily functions and systems can also be mapped to the chakras, though these mappings are somewhat subjective. For example, the root chakra might correspond to the skeletal system, the solar plexus to the digestive system, the throat chakra to the vocal cords and mouth, the third eye chakra to the brain and eyes, and the crown chakra to the entire nervous system-or even the body as a whole. What’s most important to me is remembering that the map is not the territory. It’s about enjoying our own personal exploration and insights. :) ꩜. Thank you for your shares in here shaolinemarine! My pleasure, I’ve had fun with this set of conversations; although fragmented they are quite enlightening.
Same! ^_^
