  • What would you do if your life was disrupted overnight, and you had to move to the unknown?
This is the story of Viltha Janette, a 21-year-old woman, who had to flee her home town in far North Cameroon, at the border of Nigeria, when armed groups attacked her village at night. She and her family, including a disabled grandfather, left everything behind and sought refuge in a neighbouring town.
Thanks to EU support, the World Food Programme is providing food rations to thousands of families like Janette's, who have been forced to move suddenly.
Together we are holding back hunger and saving lives.
