Great detailed advice on areas that are often missed in other youtube videos - tell you the truth it’s unusual to see work done correctly these days 👏🙌
Yet again, a cracking video. You show it how it really is and in such great detail and make it easy to understand. Your point on the business side of things is so true, no one ever realises that we have to ring around, manage everything whilst also being on the tools. You’re an inspiration
Doing a great job lads so much setting up there got to appreciate how much work is involved in that and still got time to take the lawn up for the customer and get all your calls and orders done well managed Justin it’s non stop for you! Looking forward to next upload 👏
Alright John Yea its nuts at mo it never changes really .not enough hours in the day but we do our best .appreciate the comments cheers mate hope your well 👍
Tremendous stuff, lads. Fair few quids worth of materials going into that job before you even open your 1st pack of slabs! Setting out is key....that's where so many inexperienced folk come unstuck by charging on trying to make a good impression to the client and finding out later on it's a nightmare!
Hya Joe Its a really demanding difficult job managing the job the time and so many other things its genuinely hard and demanding. Hope you and Ross are ok mate have spelt that right 👍

Coming together now Justin, I always find setting out takes a fair bit of time, especially when you've got different areas and levels to contend with, something the customer doesn't always see or appreciate. And finally, you have to be thankful you've still got some hair left to cut:)
Hya Paul hope your well .Yea spot on as usual mate all in the planning ive learnt not to go straight at it not worth it is it.well worth the extra time to no its right mate. Got plenty of hair on the back and side not much on the sun roof less hair should be cheaper hair cut but no 🤣🤣 .Good luck mate 👍
Hi Justin, great video as always. I’m about to install 200m of Bradstone setts, we have hit clay at 250mm below finish height, I’ve set shuttering up for a slab to be poured instead of base, is this how you guys would normally deal with this situation ?
Hi Matt A few ways to deal with it really as long as you have the relevant drainage set it and a decent base you should be ok for an mot base .if its a permeable drive then clay is very difficult depending on the soil test maybe a no go .A percolation test on the soil would be an idea .The concrete base is gonna be expensive especially on a 200m2 area .Could also add soakaways and or french drains .If in doubt what to do and especially as the right option has to be achieved maybe ring an engineer to assess the ground and give you an exact way to go to get the work completed right .Hope that helps you . Justin 👍
A theme I find among site brickies like myself is how long it takes to get your head around operating the machines when you do domestic work. Any feedback on that? Great content as usual.
