i like the video, but like your keeb content (regardless if I am biased). also knobs, programmable keys, and it not being a group buy are nice. Thanks for mentioning the metal and bluetooth and wireless thing (i feel like maybe I can figure out something about my wifi issues in general). Maybe there is an office that would welcome your sleepy time keeb uwu. I am sure people trying to make a silent keeb appreciate the disclaimer about maybe only disassembling if You are an enthusiast and explaining the stabilizers and space bar. 💖 I hope You do more videos about keebs. 🎉🎄
I'm with you on the Num Lock light thing. I wish I could turn it off while keeping Num Lock on. I even used the software to change the Num Lock key to be something else (End) and the light is still on
Loved this video. Currently typing on a Keychron V6 at work, but looking for something to replace my Razer POS keyboard with the non-working volume spinny thing. That volume control screws up a working keyboard otherwise. Anyway, probably going to get the Q5 max. Will get it as a full keyboard and will probably just adapt since I am lazy and I do like a thokky sound. BTW, the V6 has a lower profile keycap (CSA I think) so it will take a little getting used to.
Thanks! I don't do a lot of IRL streams but I have used the IRL Pro app for Android. It's a pretty simple and free way to get yourself going from the phone you already own.
thank god a full size keyboard! i hate TKL, pay more for less product yeah sure. why would you not want a full size? you get more keys to bind and utilize?
Kindly read my big ideas for much money: take a bunch of house keys, cut the ends off (leaving the part you’d normally hold), and use those as the keys on a keyboard. Go in business with me, the royal crown prince of Largpeenia, and we could be dozenaires!
I have the Q5 HE and while it’s almost perfect, not having the “end” key does kind of suck for my programming needs. Fn+Home isn’t that bad an alternative though when considering all the other things I love about the keyboard. I could always reprogram the page-up/down keys as as I rarely use them… but still… I use them
@@nuttylmao I would definitely miss them. I do programming and even in plain text editing I use Insert/Delete, Page Up/Down and Home/End a lot. It's really weird that they don't have all of these. Maybe I'm one of those rare people who needs the full set of keys and this works for most. 🙃 Too bad.
@@nuttylmao Wow, those guys are seriously nutty. Not only they don't have a "Silent" filter option, but when you search for "Silent Keyboard", you filter them to 100% Layout and you get 5 options. Two of them are ISO (I want ANSI), and one of them is Russian, so we're down to two. One of them has the knob, which I don't care about. Then they give you lots of choices with combinations of switches that they should explain up front what the color is about - not a big deal to add a word on top _(silent/clicky/gentle/etc - which are way down in the page)._ Apparently many others don't care about the knob, because the version without is sold out. So I looked at the only choice left, with the damned knob, and because it's very similar, I went to the comments and noticed two concerning 1-star comments. One of them is the lack of a Caps Lock LED, which I didn't think about checking in the screenshots. Num Lock and Caps Lock are important to me. Oh, man... :disappointed_hands_on_waist_emoji:
Like this video if you never want me to make a video about keyboards ever again 💗
hey man big fan just bought the q5 max but you didnt link the keycaps
I buyed Varmilo Minilo98Pro a month ago, and that THOCK and silent switches make GREAT COMBO :)
I love the KSA keycaps.
nutty, this might be the most useful video you've ever made. Don't stay in your lane and only make OBS videos. Winner.
This is now gonna be my endgame keyboard setup!! Thank you Nutty!!
fun to watch and useful contents. I really enjoyed watching it. Game AND office stuff is exactly what I’m going for.
Got one with banana switches a week ago and it is fantastic

I just got the Q5 max a couple weeks ago with the side-printed keycaps which are much shorter (since they're OSA size instead of KSA)
Another keeb video...well done Nutty!!!!
I never understood wanting to hear your typing. Super into this, gonna pick one up after the holidays
Giving me info I didn't know I wanted! I might even make a full Keychron switchover... keeb AND mouse
Thank you for this video! Ignore all those other guys. Make more videos on making silent full or nearly full sized keyboards! Thank you again. 😊

Any advice for IRL live streams nutty. Thanks just found you through an interview you did.
Thanks!

How about the Q5 HE, would you give it a try?
I got my Q5 HE and I’m obsessed. Why don’t you give my keyboard some love? Haha. Kidding. I get it… It’s basically a Q1 HE for boomers…

I think your space bar is upside down

Yerrr
And some money…. 🥲
That's not full size, unfortunuttely, or I would've ordered one already. 🥲

Technically yeah, but it's close enough that I can't imagine anyone missing the extra keys. You can reprogram the ones you are missing.

@kneekoo You can reprogram them in. Or they also have a 100% layout, but I didn't like where the knob is positioned so I didn't get it.
