the only positive area about wotlk according to me... quit in wotlk but love this place. It felt like a completely other developer had created that very area and its music. reminds me of Chrono Cross a bit and one of its peaceful background musics.
@@Hirotoro4692 Exactly when I first entered and raided Ulduar I thought this is incredible best raid ever for sure now every raid will be as innovative as this one. And then they've never did anything similar since.
I couldn't believe that Blizzard, the guys who made game called "World of Warcraft", composed this soundtrack. It's so original to the game that I felt like I got into another game when I entered Sholazar Basin. Awesome track!
I remember when I first noticed this song. I had recently changed profession, skinning into tailoring, to gain a bit more dps while raiding, and would visit that place every day to do some kind of special weave that could only be done there. I would arrive there on my protodragon, get down, weave, and quickly get on my protodragon again and fly away, so quickly that only a few notes from the flute had played, covered by the sound of me weaving and flying away. Then one day I think I got briefly asleep, and when I woke up that beautiful flute was playing. It was so beautiful, it really touched me, and to this day I still remember that moment and still listen to the song.
I play world of warcraft only for its beutiful music and places. Just sit down and look at all the things yo see there. Great feeling. Cataclysm is not so bad. It is a great thing for people to remember the things that they had...and now what they have lost. To think such a simple thing could be missed such a lot.
Well, I was at Disney recently (November 2012) and in the Asia section they were playing this song. I then searched online for further evidence and a bunch of other people have confirmed this same thing. Pretty neat if you ask me :)
@@whitehawkx1998 all these posts are old, but I can confirm, heard it at animal kingdom several times, and there's even proof now ruclips.net/video/zrfzgD4TvbE/видео.html&t=953
Here I am 9 years later, just watched a random vlogger at Disney and heard this in the background and I said "HEY THAT'S 100% from WOW, WoTLK!! Garden of Life", I knew the song even. So they are still playing it. Searching for confirmation and found your 9 year old comment :)
well yes seeing pictures like this, and just looking at the graphics it makes you fell like your in the game. every time i play this game or look at some of the trailers, or animated films i just wish my life can be a fantasy, truly amazing.
@XaxazChromaggus I know! The reason why is because the guy who made the WoTLK soundtrack is also a Disney Imagineer. If you go to the Imagination center in Epcot, it plays the new gnome music, and in the Norway ride line they play the trumpet part of Lake Wintergrasp. Pretty awesome!
this music takes me through a spiritual trip through my past years of playing WoW ( speaking Role Playing wise, not in real life) it was filled with battle and challenges, but when i finally settle down, all of my nerves, bones, and my mind calms down to this beautiful music, music speaks to us in other different ways, we all have opinions and we are free to share them.
This is the song that brings Horde and Alliance together.. Ah.. so peacefull.. I one time at 4:00 AM was so tired I lay my head of my keyboard and I fell asleep instantly.. wow I got a HUGE neck cramp in the morning.. ouch
This song is very nostalgic to some people because it has a more "classic RPG" feel than the rest of WoW's music. They could jam this into Final Fantasy or Golden Sun and it would fit right in.
Life still persists here. In the very garden of creation. While the Undead ravaged the lands around them, the Shatterspear Wolvar and Oracle Gorloc lived here. They were sheltered by Freya, but burned with a dislike of each other. They battled as if the Lich King was a figment of imagination, even with death creeping closer. Here, and only here, did the Undeath not phase the inhabitants.
This music is very similar to what Alexstrasza the life-Binder guards, and this is the sound of such a beautiful place buzzing with life, a jungle. 575 stars, so good made
Which is of course why we're chatting about it on RUclips. If you're just being technical, the difference between a forum and a chatroom is superficial at best. One merely records input on a slightly more permanent basis.
somehow I feel as if the aesthetics of wow have made me more mature. the music implies a greater threat, hidden stuff, etc. which is what I believe people liked about vanilla...only the content wasn't fun. but I do have memories of being scared in desolace, all because of the music.
When I first heard this song, I was able to hum along with it flawlessly... I must have heard it before, but from where!? It's very pretty, I know I've heard it before WoW...
*totally agree. Playing only horde or only Alli only gives you 50% of the game. (and we already have to deal with the fact that getting to try every profession and class is a near impossibility)
If you want to be addicted, to a game where you run across a virtual world, then this is the game for you Oh and I should mention that WoW is possibly the best choice you can make in the gaming industry. Best game in history.
They had to of just hit the wrong one, right? This place is in southern Dragonblight, on the map it's a giant green splotch in the middle of white blankness.
@smoshgirl95 Oh yeah forgot about DK's, but they aren't really his minions anymore...I have an 85 DK, DK's ftw :) My DK was my first lvl 80 and in Cata my first 85.

@XaxazChromaggus dude I was just there like 2 months ago and I couldn't fucking remember why this music was so familiar but not in the WoW sense. holy fuck you just blew my mind.
WoW is an on line chat room with a gaming element. RUclips is an online chat room with a video element. So yeah, you slammed a chat room in another chat room.
Well, Russell Brower was a Disney Imagineer. I assume any copyright issues would have been worked out between the 2 companies. Unless Russell Brower did this on the sly and repurposed his music. LOL.
Every WotLK area was incredibly atmospheric, and the music in that expansion was - in my opinion, at least - the best in the game.
the only positive area about wotlk according to me... quit in wotlk but love this place. It felt like a completely other developer had created that very area and its music. reminds me of Chrono Cross a bit and one of its peaceful background musics.
Ethan Michell so you missed ulduar and ICC, some of the best parts of WotLK? Ulduar being the best raid in the game.
did play some of that on a private server. maybe not the same thing but I didn't like it.
@@Hirotoro4692 Exactly when I first entered and raided Ulduar I thought this is incredible best raid ever for sure now every raid will be as innovative as this one. And then they've never did anything similar since.

Feels like something from Chrono Trigger tbh
This song really reminds me of the old SNES RPG's I used to play as a kid. Secret of Mana, Legend of Zelda and more. Good times.

The music of this game is the main thing that brings me back every so often to revisit the world I grew up in
I use to fly to sholazar and stand on an area to hear the music then I minimize the window and work...its so relaxing
beautiful. one of the best musics in WOW.
I remember this one.. farming herbs ar Sholazar Basin. One of the best soundtracks from game :)

Glad it’s still on their rotation!
Disney used this song at animal kingdom in the Asia section.
Just goes to show that WoW music is very tough to beat.
Lol, it does kinda sound like it
I came to this video because I was trying to figure out why WoW ost was playing at animal kingdom...

One of my favorite tracks. It totally sounds like something out of Legend of Mana.
If only we knew we were living in the best time
still my all time favourite wow track
.
so relaxing this, i remember just standing in the area, sitting back and listening, its very simular to final fantasy style, but still original
I stopped playing in late 2009 but I have so many wonderful memories from my years in WoW. Awesome game back then and screw the haters.
Plays in the Emerald and Ruby Dragonshrines in Dragonblight, as well.
@Invisiblefiyah wow, not the game, but the word WOW! what you just said, was incredible and so right on the spott! awesome :D
This is the song that brings Horde and Alliance together.. Ah.. so peacefull.. I one time at 4:00 AM was so tired I lay my head of my keyboard and I fell asleep instantly.. wow I got a HUGE neck cramp in the morning.. ouch
this track is beautiful
Music plays on the phone when waiting for a wow representative to speak to
Oh wow I had completely forgotten that! Reminds me of being a kid waiting in that queue to ask how to speed up my game install 😂
beautiful...

They could jam this into Final Fantasy or Golden Sun and it would fit right in.
You will find this part in Sholazar Basin ! :)
One of my favorite tracks from Wrath, right up there with the Storm Peaks music.

Very peacefully and calm, truely something to relax with ^^ Thanks for upload :D
I thought the same thing.
Great game and great music.
Can't wait for the new one. It'll be in the stores this month
Is it ok if smiled alot and tear'd up while hearing this ? XD
So do I, nostalgia is a crazy thing
I can confirm it; I was at Disney just yesterday and heard it :)
yes I agree, it's definitely more like classic RPG songs, I like it a lot because of that
One on picture is from south/southwest of Dragonblight, music plays there and at Sholazar Basin
At times, imaginary > reality. That's all there really is to it.
This music is very similar to what Alexstrasza the life-Binder guards, and this is the sound of such a beautiful place buzzing with life, a jungle. 575 stars, so good made
God I miss that game...
12 years later so do I
Which is of course why we're chatting about it on RUclips. If you're just being technical, the difference between a forum and a chatroom is superficial at best. One merely records input on a slightly more permanent basis.
@bobjob777 I see the mistake. It's called shatterspear village, so I got a little confused.
I ADORE the tribish feeling of this music. It's so befitting of Sholazar.
I still play the game. And I still enjoy it, and I've liked cata, but WOTLK was my favorite.
@Rahndoren This played all throughout Scholozar Basin, too...
I was simply amazed when I heard this upon first entering Sholazar Basin *spine tingles*
This track reminds me so much of Golden Sun.
one of my 2 favorite songs in wotlk :D
schlozar basin?
heh i remember that music when i was farming The Oracles reputation :)
old good times :((
cheers for all wow players ;)
That sir is FACKING AMAZING! O.O
Reminds me of Zelda - Ocarina of Time, just the low ress pic and awesome music :P.
Sounds a whole lot like something I've heard before in Tales of Symphonia. Which has enchanting music, such as this track, too.
I love Sholazar Basin and Grizzly Hills. PERFECT wilderness places!
Played this at my flute recidal. It was epic.
It's funny it's in the Ruby Dragonshrine and not in the Emerald one

Tales of Symphonia, was the first thing that hit me.
Completely agree with you.
the picture may be but this song plays in Sholazar Basin as its main theme.
i love this song
Scholazar remains unchallenged the best zone of wotlk. No questions :)
When I first heard this song, I was able to hum along with it flawlessly... I must have heard it before, but from where!? It's very pretty, I know I've heard it before WoW...
id say these nice bagpipe songs or something in howling fjord or the singing one in storm peaks
GOOD JOB!
how could there is 6 ppl don't like a cool and quiet music like this!
r they crazy or what?!
sometimes i really don't understand ppl at all WTF
where are those good days ... :(
They ended a long time ago ;(
*totally agree.

I love this one
Even though it doesn't resemble any song that I can recall, Ascalonir is right, this song, for whatever reason, is very nostalgic.
The music feels slightly like fable and LoZ, mainly due to the string and wind instruments leading in the song.
Awsome!
Sounds a bit like the forest of the spirits music in return to zork, oh the memories :)
me too, i was stunned
@Hollowfied92 damn its so obvious, how'd i miss that?
If WoW wasnt so time consumin(fun), addicting(fun) and eating my social life(more fun the friends) I would soooo be playing right now.
reminds me a bit of playing ''hype time quest'' in the early days
I Love this song :D
They had to of just hit the wrong one, right? This place is in southern Dragonblight, on the map it's a giant green splotch in the middle of white blankness.
@Rexoryp its a wooden flute btw
stunning O.O
Oh right I think I remember now, several "special" places with dragon skeletons.
@smoshgirl95 Oh yeah forgot about DK's, but they aren't really his minions anymore...I have an 85 DK, DK's ftw :) My DK was my first lvl 80 and in Cata my first 85.

2. Storm Peaks

nice songs!
Ahh, good ol' Sholazar Basin.
This reminds me of something that could be in Zelda aswell :)
this song plays in the smaragd dragon shrine in dragonend^^ i love this song :D
This theme play in Sholazar Basin (Rainspeaker Cannopy) AND In south Dragonblight.
reminds me the old nintendo music in games .))
I hope Cataclysm's music will be this good
This is the song.
WOTLK Soundtrack: Garden Of Life
if u gonna run wow smooth on the ultra highest (along with the new shadow efect) , then i would suggest ultra high end computer
but on ultra high (without the new shadow efects) the just a new high end computer .
Six people are either Horde or the Lich king's minions.
