We had a local restaurant in our town investgated by Tommy Robinson. It caused a very mixed stir amongst the locals.
A few weeks later I was chatting to a policeman from our town, and I brought up Tommy Robinson in the conversation. The first thing he said with a disgusted tone was 'Tommy Robinson is a racist'!' I turned the chat to Tommys investigations with the seedy local restaurant and the pc replied casually 'oh yeah police know its going on but just don't have the evidence'
I was appalled at the pc's whole demeanour for Tommy in comparison to knowing exactly what was going on at that restaurant!!

If Muslim had come to the uk and integrate not try to take over the country there would not be any issue. Many years ago I listened to the police talking about grooming gangs in the uk. They investigated 56 gangs and all but 4 of the 56 gangs they investigated were Pakistani men or of Pakistani background. The police said that they could not report this for fears of being called racist. Ruan is patronising and I wish Tommy has nothing to do with him.

I was the Scottish gent, wearing a st Andrews cross in london on st George's day. The crowd was amazing, the only downfall was as you say the Met police kettled us all into that corner. A young teenage girl took an officers baton to the side of the head/ face, yes people got angry and pushed forward, they responded with more police and the horses came in. As a Veteran who has stood on the line in public disorder situations, it was ott and absolutely disgusting. The excuse they gave for not allowing the march any further forward was that there were pro Palestinian protesters around the column. It was bollox, we walked round that way after the kettling incident.
I think Tommy doesn't want to be that popular. He just wants the government in power to adress the rightful concerns of the people.

On the whole, he's of the same opinion as Paul & Danny, he's admitted that Tommy Robinson is an extremely intelligent man, who often gets dragged down by some of his followers & that the Middle Classes, of which he is one, don't get to see, or live, amongst the problems of the wider public.
Tommy needs to use his intelligence & knowledge in a way that others have, so he's not continually considered a problem to be dealt with, but a man with a serous message that needs to be heard. Imho Tommy needs to play his detractors at their own game to be taken seriously, by those who only have to hear his name, to dismiss him completely & what he has to say.

Tommy did an excellent Oxford Union Address. He had researched and documented what happened in Luton over some years and presented it. It was the TRUTH....and what he showed in Luton was also happening in Newham that I have personal experience of and I daresay many other places...'they' didn't like his exposees of truth and the fact that plenty of people like me SUPPORT him.
