I’m with Whitney that it’s very weird (and creepy) that he sent expensive gifts to someone he doesn’t know. As he said, he doesn’t like her and barely knows her, so why tf would he send her expensive champagne and flowers? It’s borderline love bombing. Also, when Eli says “when you write your phone number on the form make sure it’s readable so I can use it” is super creepy. It would be one thing if she had already expressed interest, but I would be so uncomfortable if I was filling out a form and someone implied they would be taking my personal info for their own use. Bc if she’s not interested, she doesn’t really have a choice but to give him her number. Boys, not just you guys but anyone reading this, don’t do either of these things! It’s played off as romantic or hot because it’s a tv show but in real life these things would make girls very uncomfortable and would not work. Please don’t take tips from these characters

Leighton is the heart and soul of the show for me. Happy she got a somewhat happy ending, though.
