The editing is atrocious. Too many unnecessary scenes left in and too many important scenes left out. Editors - this causes too many WTF moments and after about 3 of them, most will stop watching. Do better?

Really nice version of the plot. FL is a super star talented actor, whenever I see her image it's a must to watch. The ML was great and so was the kid. Actually the whole cast was good. It was a high quality production, multiple costume changes (and repeats) but at least the hospital and jail scenes had the appropriate costumes. Unlike some who just got out of surgery and still have street clothes on lol ( I digress). With a very satisfying and complete ending...on to the next!!!
I agree with your comment. Ma Lejie (FL) and Zhang Lei (ML) did a great job and I always feel Ma Lejie plays classy ladies. I really like her acting and clothing style - there's something elegant about her. Zhang Lei is not a "pretty boy", he's a man. They worked well together!

A very good short drama, with a good plot, and the creative direction of the plot is very progressive. It is not like many short dramas that repeat plots, 👍🥰
U need to make sure the scenes u cut is x needed & also pls don't jump the scenes...when u cut @ jump those needed scenes the scenes after will not make sense (at least to me 😅)...

Such a healthy drama.there wasnt any green tea claiming to be mother of the kid and causing drama.the child was not abused or kidnapped.the ml saw the fl and was just drawn towards her.he blackmailed her with her identity just to be with him and his son.fl senior was truly wicked with his innocent face,he knew what happened to the fl in the past and the child yet he pretended fr all those years inorder to selfishly have the fl on his side but you cn nvr change fate.

Horrendously edited, the frames have no sequence or connection to give smooth fluidity to the storyline. I have seen different versions of this storyline. Editor needs to be axed for this one. The audio recording is also crappy, dialogues are not audible in certain frames. All the effort put by these talented actors went down the drain.
